Finally found me my Go-To pupusa place in Modesto!! I had been looking for one since moving from the Bay Area. This place DID NOT disappoint! I ordered pupusas de revuelta, and one of frijoles, also ordered an horchata. Everything was DELICIOUS!! 10/10! I was upset I did not order more! I came in the evening around 6, not sure I want to be in the area at night. I ordered to go and the they were fast and friendly! I will definitely be back for takeout ! Ordered on DoorDash and everything was fantastic. We had never tried Salvadoran food before. Got the pork and cheese pupusas, one bean and cheese, and one spinach and cheese. Meat tastes great, but spinach and cheese was my fave! Plantain empanadas and rice were amazing too. The rice is not Mexican red rice, but we knew that going in, and it’s delicious. Pupusas come with a really yummy salsa dipping sauce. Tomato based and the right amount of spice. Food: 5
The food is amazing here! The pupusas have so much flavor: Pollo, Carne asada, zucchini y queso, & jalapeño y queso. The platanos con miel were perfectly cooked and not too sweet. The ladies are so sweet and the environment is so beautiful. It's a 10/10 for me!! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Pupusas are excellent, especially the rice with cheese and loroco. The only thing I would really like changed would be the curtido and sauce needs to be better. Other than that highly recommend Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Go for the food. Stay for the beatiful garden dining area. Super friendly. Food was really great. Had a big order an they got it done very quick. Service Take out Meal type Dinner Price per person $1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Burrito Sup
The food is really good. I love yucca and chicharron, so getting the combination was perfect. The horchata was amazing too, in my opinion. It’s very different from Mexican horchata though so you may not like it if that what you’re used to. But I loved it. Pupuseria Garcia- Modesto, Ca The Wifee and I were passing through Modesto and was in the mood for Salvadoran pupusas. I found this spot through a Google search. We ordered pork and cheese pupusas, rebueltas pupusas, cheese pupusas, platanos crema frijol and yuca con chicharron. Everything we ordered was delicious, perfect amount of salt, flavorful and fresh. The ladies definitely make authentic Salvadoran style food, the curtido, salsa roja complemented everything. The only thing they did not have was Salvadoran tamales, but they did say they will be making some soon and they would let us know so that we can get our dozen. Definitely a hidden gem in the town of Modesto and I will definitely be returning. The surrounding area can be a little rougher for some people and the roads are very busy. I would highly recommend this location. Service Take out Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20
