Such a variety of great things to choose from. Clean, friendly staff and not too far from home

Such a great experience! Matt was helping me find what I needed and went out of his way to make sure I had what I needed before checking out. Great store and even better employees!

Always clean. Always great service 💯. Their prices are a little higher but the kindness from the staff makes it worth acceptable. Thanks again
Just kills me how unfriendly the customer service is. I worked for Publix and the training was all about excellent customer service. The Freeport Publix is completely lacking. I have to speak to the employees and also say thank you. Not all employees are lacking, but it should be ALL employees to have exceptional service. Do better, it’s not that hard to just be friendly.

The atmosphere is similar to the other Publix located in Santa Rosa Beach, slightly lacking the enthusiasm or greatfulness which is the best way I can describe the attitude the employees have to be allowed to work there. Some find the job as a stepping stone while others are career focused doing any and everything they can to be better.

Publix is one of those stores where quality is consistent! Everyone was friendly, store was clean. If I had to say something negative, we purchased a sushi roll for $5 Sushi Wednesday, and it seemed skimpy. We've done this at other Publix locations but this one seemed "less than". Maybe it's Shrink-Flation. BTW, this shopping plaza is nice too. Has a good little variety of services/shops.

Stopped by today and got a sandwich from the deli. The young man Samuel who made my sandwich was very pleasant and made the best sandwich. Everything was equally spread out just the way i like it. He greated me after i waited for about 5 minutes, watching the two women passing me by, both completely ignoring me and acting like they hated their jobs. This young man was kind, had a smile and actually seemed to enjoy his job.

Publix is consistently good, and the Freeport store is as well. It’s spotless, and the shelves are fully stocked. Their produce is always good quality as is their fish, and I appreciate their BOGOs too. Their wings are quite good too!
I consistently am treated poorly by staff when I ask for my items to be placed in paper bags and usually I just deal but this morning, I was not only given an attitude, but the bagger was getting confrontational with me, telling me it was my fault they were upset because I didn't tell them soon enough I wanted my items in paper and the cashier told me, the reason I am given an attitude is because "it takes the baggers longer to bag"....they had started placing the first few items in plastic so when I spoke up saying I wanted paper, they actually tossed/chucked my items out of the plastic, annoyed they had to take that extra step....neither the cashier or bagger handed me my groceries or said thank you. I did mention this to a manager afterwards but it seems to me like such a silly thing to get made at customers for and really sad to leave a store feeling worse then when you went it :(
This is just what Freeport needed! I've been here a long time and it's about time people started to recognize that the old way ain't making anyone any money! Places like Publix brings in employment for the city and I hope to see more.
