I have only been to this store a few times but I find it to be extremely clean and well organized. They also seem to always have a few products or produce I haven't seen before...I have heard Sumo Oranges mentioned in several conversations lately and despite the fact that I have not spotted them at other chains, they had them. I think there sales are good and I think in general their prices may be lower.
I have however spotted mistakes on how sale items rang up though so I would suggest checking your receipt. They are very gracious however in righting their wrongs and the work crew is very friendly.
This may become my "go to" store.
Publix Super Market at Leesville hosts my all-around favorite local grocery store deli and bakery.
Publix offers a delicious daily hot bar featuring some of the best chicken (fried, rotisserie, strips, bites) I have ever eaten. They also typically offer mac and cheese, greens, carrots and yummy seasoned large-cut french fries. You can purchase a generous dinner consisting of an entree, 2 sides and a roll for about $8-$9. You can also purchase family sized chicken boxes and sides to go.
The Publix deli also makes delicious fresh sub sandwiches in-house to order. They offer a self-serve deli filled with fresh sandwiches, side salads, dips (too many to mention), etc. What a delicious convenience!
Be sure to look them up on line for your catering needs too… I have been pleased to serve any number of their large assortments of deli meat, sandwich, fruit, cheese, dessert, etc. trays to friends and family. Their pricing here is surprisingly good.
I cannot forget their bakery, too, which is overflowing in store-baked delicacies. If you happen to enjoy authentic Key Lime Pie, you’ve come to the right place!
Best customer service experience I have had in a long time. I visited the store on Tuesday before Thanksgiving and it was very busy. I had special requests for the deli department, the produce department and the meat department. Everyone I spoke with treated me like I was the only person in the store. Every request was met with a smile. The check out process was easy with no waiting. I had a real cashier who did her job with a smile. Thank you so much for all you do and for your kindness. I don't go to this location often but I was in the area visiting a friend so I went up to the deli to grab some lunch. They were super busy but the level of patience and customer service they had was off the charts. There were some rude customers that I wouldn't have been able to deal with so professionally, to be honest.
Well stocked with a very helpful staff. Cart returns are not my favorites and parking always seems to leave me with a good walk to the entrance. If you're young and energetic you won't notice if you're older like me the walk can be an issue. However, they do have a number of items I like better than other stores so I continue to shop there.
Nice clean store with friendly staff.
Good selection of different foods. Their bakery makes great sweets.
Prices are a smidge higher than other places, but not enough to discourage me from shopping elsewhere.
Meat department - Publix meat department, butchers and meat quality are by far the best I have seen. I spend a lot of money on meats for my family and they are absolutely my go to store now. Last time I went for a Rib roast they were so good I bought 2! It seems like every time I go there the same gentlemen is at the case keeping check of everything. He always speaks to the customers and makes you feel welcome.
Past experience at other stores in the area have been a disappointment especially if you ask for something. I buy probably 10 prime ribs a year and tenderloins. At a HT off Glenwood the guy was not happy and cut a huge tenderloin and left a huge mass of lard cap on a rib roast.

The bag girl unloaded my cart for me and was super nice. Actually had people checking me out instead of myself. Awwe the good ol days. Prices are a little on the high side. Bakery is real Good if you get there early in the morn
Too short staffed in the deli area for the after work dinner rush. One person on each station is NOT enough. Otherwise the store is clean with a good selection/variety of products. The bakery items were all fresh as well.
Frustrated, there is no way to get a hold of someone at the store. Phone will not ring “user busy” for past 30 min then when it does finally ring nobody answers. Then I get a hold of someone in bakery but they cannot help nor know the simple question I have.
