We used Public School 702 for our rehearsal dinner this past week, we stayed out in their patio with games and drinks and amazing food! The service was outstanding and all of our guests loved the food and drinks! Everyone raved about the Thai coconut curry chicken and the brownie ice cream dessert. We’d do it all over again there and would recommend it as an amazing and affordable dinner spot for anyone with large parties!

This place is a wonderful place for beginnings or firsts. When making reservations, ask for one of their booths with a view. I had a first date here and it was an evening setting. So glad I did. Great food, great and friendly service with a smile! Highly recommend!

I like the atmosphere and theme here and they also offer a discount for teachers but the food is a bit hit or miss. My crispy chicken sandwich was great but the fries were nothing special and the coleslaw was pretty bad. So maybe avoid the coleslaw and go for the beer and burger instead.

Not impressed whatsoever with our recent visit to this location. Eight of us went out for lunch here last Friday and arrived 30 minutes after the restaurant opened. The place was nearly empty as the photos I posted show. After being seated, we still had to wait a good 10-15 minutes before being able to place our order since they only had a few servers working. Another 20 minutes or more went by before getting our food. I had a simple cheeseburger with fries and the food was cool to lukewarm and tasted alright, but no better than your standard fast-food place and it would be a lot cheaper than this place. Another problem was trying to find our server throughout the course of lunch – some of us had their drinks refilled and others had to hunt down any server we could find. I can understand if the place was busy but there was no one there at the time of our visit. I held off writing this review since we had a similar situation with this restaurant a month ago and wanted to give them a second chance. Well, we gave it a go, but this will be one place we will skip in the future. Great atmosphere and location but the service is subpar, and the food is only satisfactory.

Not bad but not going back for the Burger again. It tasted like processed meat.
Quinoa salad was tasteless.

We dined at Public School 702 for dinner on a Friday evening, Aug 11. We were seated almost immediately. It is a unique dining experience as most things in the restaurant are school themed. We were seated under a solar system diagram that looks like it was put together in a science class...very cool. The beer selection is great and we started off with the naked chicken wings to share. I would have preferred some spiciness to them but the chicken was perfectly done and we all enjoyed them. The PB&J burger was phenomenal for my main course. I love burgers and this was easily one of the top 10 burgers I have ever had...a bit messy from the blackberry habanero jam but oh so tasty. My wife absolutely loved her Chophouse steak salad and my son cleaned up his kids crispy chicken basket.
We returned for lunch on Saturday, Aug 19, just before noon and again seated immediately. They had a brunch menu this time. My wife had a jalapeño popper biscuit breakfast that looked amazing and she loved it. My daughter chose the monkey bread donuts and as I expected...delicious. I'm not much of a breakfast guy so I went with the fish tacos. Ehhh. They were not bad but also not something I would get again. I'm still giving the food 5 stars because everything else was very good and I am still dreaming about that PB&J burger.
Both times we visited the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. Service was great and the food was timely.
