Get on the go a quick, enjoyable cappuccino for that extra kick that you need to get through the day. I love the beautifully branded take-away cups of Probst Cafe... "A place where friends meet." I really like this place. Crunchy brötchens (buns), sweet treats and so much more. I'm a huge sucker for the German style iced coffee! And there was a time I was addicted to their tuna mayo toasties and Florentine cookies. Ideal/evaporated milk is sometimes offered if you're interested in trying it with your coffee. This eclair pastry changed my life. It was recommended to us by a employee and boy it didn’t disappoint. We just had lunch nearby and I regret not being able to come here for a full meal. Cashiers were friendly but the kitchen staff was slow. Had to wait over 20min for brotchens which the cashier in said will be done quickly. Decided to cancel the order and ask for a refund which took another 10min for them to get the relevant person in charge to sort it out and then my order magically appear and now they can't cancel it because the food is ready. Probst become part of growing up in Walvis Bay. I must for anyone traveling to the coast. Order meat pies and brotchens for a take away on the beach. Order the breakfast if dining in, extra tip instead of the steak ask the waitor to change it to liver. The memories at Probst Café are second to none. Was a lovely experience with the family on our departure back to South Africa. The waiter Suzie was friendly and hospitable. The menu could cater for the client requiring either a small meal to a feast. On our way out we also had the opportunity to have some desserts. Will definitely return again when the opportunity arises. Thank you
