I used to frequent this place for years. The customer service is simply not welcoming. The food quality has changed a bit but it's still tasty. The parking has always been horrible and it still is. I dined in and it was very somber.

I have been to Priscilla's twice these last two weeks. The first time I went(2-21-24) I got the liver dinner macaroni and dressing and extra side of sweet potatoes. The sides were great the Liver & Onion not so much. So I went again this past Wednesday(2-28-24) to get the meal again (thinking that the first round just a bad food run) this time the pieces are hard and I can not even chew the food, the sides are fantastic. FYI - I go to Priscilla's because they use to have the best Liver & Onion meal. I guess that has changed. I want go back for a third.

It's really disappointing that I have to leave such a review because for several years this was my absolute favorite place. However, over the past 1-1.5 years, something has really really changed, don't know if it's the cooks, change in recipes or what but the food was really disappointing on 3 separate occasions. Yes, I kept trying to go back, lol, because I really loved their food, previously, but all 3 last times I was so disappointed.
The 1st mishap, I got carryout for my dad & I. All... of our food was so spicy from his meatloaf & greens, to my greens and fish. I was like what the what is this. My dad is 78 and can't have anything spicy so...... not only did that dinner go to waste but I had to get him something else. Of course no one answers the phone when I tried calling and the convenient vm was full. So yes money wasted and we all know those dinners aren't cheap.
So about a month later I go back again, the fish was hard, Mac & cheese barely any taste (very........ off) and the greens were still spicy plus very little taste and the dressing which use to be my favorite dish, after the Mac & cheese, omg tasted like garlic on top of garlic. I almost cried, lol But also serious. Priscilla was the only! Place who use to have great dressing but... I don't know what happened.
My 3rd and last trip was last year, about 6 months ago, but the same disappoint.
Each time I tried calling the restaurant to voice my complaint & concern but no one ever answers and the vm is always full.
If anyone hears that corrections have been made please............ let me know because they use to be my favorite and I really wish I could go back to sating that.

This place was a wonderful blast from my past, culinary treat! The food is authentic Southern Cooking as I remember it from my years living in Memphis. It is served buffet cafeteria style from steam trays as you pass down the line. I had meat loaf and made potatoes doused in southern gravy, and a side of candied yams that were to die for. Don't worry, there are several cohices of meats and sides on the menu! My dining partner said the Mac and cheese side was amazing.
From the list of over a dozen dessert choices, I had peach cobbler that brought back so many good memories of church potlucks and holiday meals.
For those with limited Southern experience, don't confuse Pricilla's with Cajun food. You won't find blackened meats or fishie stews here! Think instead of Southern fried chicken <yes, it's different that Midwestern fried>, collard greens, fried green tomatoes, and corn bread.
As for ambiance, this place has a definite diner vibe with paper napkin dispensers on the tables. There's plenty of seating, bring the whole family for a down-home experience-- or order yours ahead to take home from the dedicated pickup counter with a separate entrance.

Sides and Cornbread
The food was great however, getting your food when you do takeout is a bit crazy. There is no organized way for the counterperson to let you know your takeout order is ready. Also, there is no place to park at the park around the corner close to a block away from the restaurant.
