After reading the mixed reviews, we decided to try this restaurant tonight for hubby’s birthday. The service was good, our waiter was new, but pleasant and making a great effort. Overall, the food tasted good and was presented well. Salad bar had some brown lettuce, but other items were good. The rolls were hot and fresh, but we could have done without the salt on top. They were out of the wine we wanted and brought a wine glass with lipstick still on it. They were out of the bone-in ribeye. My husband ordered the regular ribeye and was brought what looked and tasted like a NY strip. It was prepared well so he ate it even though we paid for a ribeye at $10 more. The atmosphere was non existent. No ambience whatsoever. The kitchen apparently does not have ventilation as the entire bar area was filled with smoke within the hour of our visit. Most of the staff were dressed for an outside BBQ. If you go, realize the sales tax is 9% and you are also charged a 5% service fee. When we asked what the service fee was, the waiter went to ask the owner. The waiter came back and said “we think it’s a tax on alcohol.” Why does the owner not know what this fee is for? This experience was disappointing considering we spent $140 for 2 people. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $50–100 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 2
Decided to try this place recently on a Tuesday evening with my girlfriend. We walked in to empty tables, but it was admittedly only 40 minutes or so after opening for Dinner. We ordered the Cheese curds, which were delicious and plentiful especially for the price. She got the Bone-in Porkchop which was huge and very tender, I got the Filet Mignon which was cooked perfectly to rare. Overall honestly the food was amazing, it's a shame that it seems to be a best kept secret as no one was really there. We will definitely be coming back, no question. Decided on Prime for a birthday celebration and what a total disappointment. Short staffed, chef was playing head banging music that you could totally hear while at the salad bar. No ventilation, because when the kitchen began cooking the entire place became smokey. Arrived at 6pm and already they were out of pork chops. So I went for the lobster ravioli but much to my surprise it was not a freshly prepared dish but frozen. What a total disappointment. Hopefully the owner will make some changes. Entire staff was dressed in jeans even the manager. When you name is Prime the experience needs to be PRIME. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30 Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 1
Date night fail! Normally we love to dine here, however tonight I guess they were ready to close. We arrived well before closing (2hrs before), the hostess had to ask if they were able to seat us, the salad bar was bare, and our music of the night was Freak A Leek. Our waitress was great, however the overall vibe ruined a $$ dining experience. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 2

Disappointed. My filet was on dry side and no seasoning. Brussel sprouts were not really seasoned. No bread unless you get the salad bar. Waitress was good. For prices, staff should be dressed better. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3
We booked reservations for our company Christmas party. When we arrived it was very empty. We went in and had a sign to seat yourself. Menu options were good but they didn't have most of them. They were having a slow night but our server was constantly missing. The bar was out of liquor and they blamed it on customers from the day prior. Drink orders waits were 20 to 30 minutes. They only had one dessert option. The bill included a service fee. When inquiring about the fee, we were told it was a Mandatory tax. There is no such tax. We will not return. We made sure to tip the suggested amount but felt that the service was not up to par to even consider a service fee. When researching the fee, it should have been posted somewhere to make it legal. WOW!! We were "concerned" when we arrived for dinner and the restaurant only had a couple of seated tables. An empty restaurant is usually not a good sign. However- I'm SO glad that we stayed! The staff was pleasant and very attentive. But the food was the true star of the evening!! Absolutely delicious! Folks in Spartanburg need to support this wonderful restaurant!!!! So much better than hitting a plain-Jane chain restaurant. Tony's ribeye was cooked perfectly and my swordfish was very yummy. The spinach-artichoke dip was the best I've ever had...DELICIOUS !!! We loved everything. I got shrimp and grits that had great flavor and my wife got a ribeye and it was huge and cooked well! I saw someone say something about the cheese curds in the reviews so we got them for an app and they did not disappoint. Everything tasted homemade and thoughtful. Service was great, bartender was nice… we will be back for sure! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50
I love live music, good food and great times. Not sure if the Prime has music every Friday night but last night it was a great place for all 3. I got the Fillet and it was cooked perfectly. After dinner we went downstairs to listen to some music and a after dinner drink. It was a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere. The music was good, lively and fun. We will definitely be headed back. Meal type Dinner Price per person $50–100
This place is awesome! Very laid back, casual atmosphere. The staff are so nice and accommodating. Steaks were cooked to perfection and the sides are some of the best I've ever had! Make sure to try the cheese curds also! You won't be disappointed! We'll definitely be going again and again! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50
