What an uncomfortable experience. My friend and I didn't even really settle in our seats once were seated When Waitress Debra H asked what we would like to order for drinks. My Caucasian friend was asked first what she would like and she ordered an alcoholic beverage. Waitress Debra H then asked me what I would like and I, Me the African American woman also requested an alcoholic beverage. Immediately Waitress Debra H looks at me and asks for my I.D. I was surprised because she didnt even ask my friend who ordered her drink first. So I asked Waitress Debra H "are you not going to ask my Friend as well for her I.D.? since she ordered an alcoholic beverage as well? " Waitress Debra H answered, "NO." I told Waitress Debra H to try again that she will do her job 100 % and ask my friend for her I.D. as well. My friend takes her I.D. out Waitress Debra H barely looks at it. When I pulled my I.D. out she takes it from me and looks at it carefully. My friend and I Decided to leave the restaurant. Waitress had no remorse nor apologetic for her ignorance.
