Got some iced coffee here Friday afternoon, and hot coffee Saturday morning. Good service, and good atmosphere. Their gluten free options are pretty decent too. If I'm ever in Pottsville again I'll be stopping by 🤙🏽 Service Take out Meal type Breakfast Price per person $1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Bagel
We were excited to try this place out since it was different than the normal diners we go to. The atmosphere is cute and the staff was nice. But, I would not recommend it if you’re interested in their bagels. We ordered a Lox Bagel & the Brekkie Bagel. There was three tiny stops of salmon on the Lox & the egg on the Brekkie was small & rubbery. Very disappointing. However, this might be a nice place to have a warm drink and hangout. We used to love pressed. But today not only was an item missing from our order, this is what the hot stuff breakfast sandwich looked like with paid upgrade extra bacon. Service Delivery Meal type Breakfast Food: 2

Tried Pressed for the first time today and was very impressed. There were only two baristas on staff and despite being overwhelmingly busy, they handled each customer with attentiveness and care. I got a salted caramel hot latte with oat milk and it is HANDS DOWN the best latte I’ve had in Schuylkill County. Not overly sweet, the espresso was smooth, and the milk was frothed to the perfect drinking temperature. The angel brekkie sandwich was delicious as well. Pro-tip, ask for hot honey on it! I will definitely be coming back to try a crepe from their menu as well as feed my newest latte addiction. Without a doubt, I highly recommend Pressed! Such a great little coffee shop! The fare was delicious, the staff was friendly, and the atmosphere is so cozy and welcoming! I love that I was able to buy some beans to bring home and enjoy as well. And the little used bookshop at the back of the shop is so great to stroll through and find some fun treasures! Will absolutely be returning on my next drive through here! Both times I ordered here, I was given a surprise upcharge after my order was processed. I tried the drip coffee + tiramisu latte and both were disappointing. I appreciate the atmosphere and would love to have made this a regular hangout spot if I didn't have to overhear the baristas loudly banter about ungrateful customers and how they hate men. They even began to close early while I was sitting down, blasting abrasive rock music and turning off the lights above me. I normally get along with the LGBTQ crowd but have been left with a cold shoulder where I thought I'd be more welcomed. Probably one of my worst small business experiences in town. Ok coffee shop that did not live up to the hype. Dingy interior frequented by younger, liberal crowd. Staff seemed "put out" when asked questions about the menu by my allergic wife. Crepes were good. Espresso was good. Coffee was less palatable than 7-11 and tasted stale and burnt like it had been sitting for hours. I wouldn't come back on purpose. I had the banana nana crepe with peanut butter and I never thought I'd be hungry ever again. I also had the coaltown coffee blend and I think it's beyond my pallet, but comparable to coffee of other quality roasters. If I could've done it over I would've tried the berries and cream crepe and the workflow dark roast. The service is friendly. Bathroom is spacious and clean. It was quite busy and most tables were occupied, but we were able to grab seats at the counter in the book room. The local art for purchase is awkwardly merchandised behind patrons, would suggest it be moved to a more accessible area. We purchased paperback books, $5 each. Overall really wonderful experience.
We were excited to stop in for breakfast while running errands. We had read mostly positive reviews and wanted to try something new. On the way I had joked about stopping at McDonalds instead, that comment haunts me. When ordering, prices aren’t posted so immediate guessing game. The drip coffee and hot chocolate were mediocre. We ordered 2 brekkie sandwiches, both were consistent; a strangely warm, but not toasted bagel and the cheese, egg, and bacon were refrigerator cold. Our total for two of the more plain drink offerings and two sandwiches was a little over $18 + tip. We did read the occasional similar experience in the comments regarding cold / poor food but thought it wouldn’t happen to us. The owner responded to the previous comments, so they are aware of the issue. Whatever the problem is, it’s not fixed.
