What a restaurant! We went on our first night because it was right next to our hotel, and we went back every single day until we left! The food is unbelievable. The lamb (Sandra's recommendation) was the best I've ever had. No comparison. Not even New Zealand could compete! The fish dishes were all insane, and the lobster soup was stunning. The Creme Brulee was flawless. Sandra (manager) stole the show. She was attentive and so genuine and friendly. Her recommendations were excellent, and she made the whole dining experience really special... and that's not to say the other staff weren't superb! I just can't sing all their praise enough. Honestly, I've been all over the world, and it's so rare to get an atmosphere like this! And the food wasn't even expensive! Iceland is expensive, but here we paid about £60 per head, and every bite felt like stealing. Thank you to the staff for a wonderful experience. My visit to Potturinn & Pann in Reykjavik was fantastic. Despite the pre-dinner rush, the attentive service ensured our comfort. The menu primarily featured fish, but there were other options available. I opted for the "fish of the day," which was fresh and delicious. While prices in Reykjavik can be high, the quality of food and service at Potturinn & Pann justified it. The cozy atmosphere added to the dining experience. We had a table of eight, and everyone said that their meal was excellent. I had the crispy lamb which was perfectly cooked and tender and delicious. The only criticism I have is that the bathroom was old and crungey looking. Great food, great service, a bit pricey so, I think they should put some money back into the restaurant itself. A bit on the expensive side, but the food definitely made up for that. Service was very friendly and professional. Food came quite fast for how good it looked and tasted. As this restaurant is connected to the 22 Hill hotel, it gets quite a few international visitors, which doesn't seem to be a problem at all as all servers spoke perfect english. One server even noticed by her accent how a french woman was struggling with her english, and to my surprise switched to perfect french out of nowhere.
