Our first time trying out Popeyes on Maize road and our last time. We saw employees putting food in front of other employees faces. Cussing. Touching hair and face with gloved hands and continuing to handle food. Almost $40 for disgusting looking food and we couldn’t finish it because of what we witnessed the employees doing in the back. Huge line and lots of people standing waiting while employees in the back were standing around laughing together.

Felt like I got scammed today. Paid 30 bucks for an 8-tender meal, but got inch-long scraps from the bottom of the barrel instead. This was supposed to feed 3 people but was actually barely enough for one portion - ended up making ramen at home. Smallest coleslaw I've ever seen.
Most of the menu was unavailable to begin with and when I pointed out the ridiculously small chicken sizes and counted out the 13 1/2 fries, the guy behind the counter he shrugged and said sorry, that's the whole meal. 30 dollars and the sauces outweighed the whole box 🤣 Didn't even get bread.
I'm not in the habit of reviewing fast food joints but these scraps seriously ticked me off.
Do better, on a Tuesday.

Have always been a fan of Popeyes chicken but hadn't been to this new one since they opened a few months ago. The wife and I went in for a late lunch and although I was a little concerned with some of the reviews I have seen it was a great experience.
I had the 4 piece chicken combo with red beans and rice and my wife had the chicken sandwich. Both meals were delicious and cooked perfectly. Service was friendly and our food came out quickly and hot! No complaints here!

The food and employees were great but the order wasn’t complete. I ordered a 12ct nuggets and they gave me half of that. A lot of the items on the menu are not available. You’re pretty much limited on what’s available.

Super nice staff
Chicken was hot and fresh, mind you had to wait a minute or two due to the volume of people but definitely worth the wait. Super clean store with a new modern look.

What a horribly decorated place. I don't understand the minimalist design. It feels unfinished, uninviting, and cold. The service leaves a lot to be desired as well. We ordered a take out meal from inside around 7:15pm because the two lane drive thru was not moving at all. They seem to be fine with their fried chicken meals getting out quickly, but lord help you if you order anything else like tenders or wings.
The cashier was very friendly and apologetic, but it still doesn't excuse 4 different people waiting on orders in a lobby with two lines of cars in your drive thru. The other workers looked like they were running around not sure what they needed to focus on.
I ordered the popcorn shrimp and two tenders as well as the strawberry biscuit. 20 minutes later, I got my order and stupidly I didn't check because I didn't see these other reviews. The strawberry biscuits are not in the bag and my order is barely warm.

Placed mobile order, got stuck in traffic was running 10min late to pick up. Stood in line to let them know my number for order number meanwhile I saw an order sitting at the front. I assumed it was mine but didn’t go to get it because I didn’t know. Another customer thought it was theirs and was missing some meals. Manager looked frustrated and busy. When talking to customer about said food. I move out of line to ask if it was my order, the manager ignores me takes food and drops it on the ground behind register. I get back in line and tell the register what number mine was. He then goes and picks up same sack of food off the ground and gives it to me. I elaborate that the sack of food was dropped on the dirty floor of the kitchen and I wanted that to be known. He proceeds to tell me that it’s fine take the food you were late anyways.
I left without asking for anything and took my food home.
I just want upper management to know their staff at this location needs some more training to be able to handle the fast paced environment they are working in.
Got home and order was completely wrong and missing our biscuits!

Poor Service - They ran out of Tenders -they charge $2.60 for WATER!! Cashier added that charge AFTER we ordered Water! And then tells - We have to Charge for water!! I did not realize this till after he charged my card. Cashier was cleaning nails at front counter. Fingers poking out of his glove...which he still served us with.
Very sad experience.. Will not be back.

I have been twice since it has opened. Very long wait time that is unnecessary. Staff doesn't know what is going on when questions are asked. Missing items, or half of the items present, hair in my food. They need to get it together. The food is decent just need to work on getting better, faster, organized. Overall it isn't worth its weight for the time it takes, and missing items.

Order was not complete , very rude customer service , employee was on his cellphone while taking order and other employees yelling across lobby about inappropriate topics . We weren’t the only ones who were upset about the atmosphere . Clearly no management was present at all !!
