Still the good old Ponderosa after all these years! Dinghy and dated decor. Due to lack of manpower, they're trying their best to provide customers with the best they could. But there are just too many customers arriving, they just couldn't keep up. Salad bar is great, not over the top but considering it's in Taiwan, I'm happy. Main course were not up to par. We had cat fish and salmon, not recommended. Steak might be a better choice. Another one of my preferred dish is the taco/fajitas. Chili's great, cheese is okay but diluted. I'm just happy that it's available. Soups: many varieties. A bit salty. Beverages: cold or hot, your choice. Typically American food with the same vibes. Reasonable priced, worth a try! Salad was good, good variety of other food items...but not suitable for indian taste buds..... assistance by staff was good.... we tried buffet but i think individual order may give better experience... overall it is a good place to eat together, especially , if you have a diverse friend circle..... Overall a pretty good value considering they have a full-sized salad bar. The dish I ordered was a "German Hog Leg," not very authentic but pretty tasty with chewy skin and juicy meat. Absolutely delicious grilled steak. The baked potato is uniquely tasty and the buffet area has a wide variety. I will visit this restaurant again and again.

Place is ok. Food is ok. Small steak, came unsalted and there was no salt or pepper on the table. There's a buffet with some salad, pastry, ice cream, soft drinks and coffee. If you're not picky, you can eat very full. I'm not full because I only ate the steak and ice cream because the rest didn't look great. Buffet area a bit dirty, sticky floor. Ponderosa is a place to have delicious food at a reasonable rate. They offer all you can eat buffet in NT 379 which is good. Secondly, the place is great for vegetarians.
Great food. Unlimited options and delicious meal. They have vegan options as well. More western food. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $800–1,000 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes All You Can Eat

Ponderosa Steakhouse is an American chain restarant. It offers "all you can eat" with an order of main steak dish. The steak, and the chicken steak at this location was good. Everything on the "all you can eat" bar was good also. For its size in Taipei City, it has a cosy atmosphere feel. Their services are professional but relaxed in a none intrusive way. Good for couples or a group of friends to enjoy.

Overall it's a pretty good place if you can fit all the food in your stomach unlike me:) the steak was quite red for medium and also fatty. Limited amount of desserts that also taste plain. You can find some mexican food there though . All the ice cream was almost done so it took us ages to scoop it out.
