Multiple friends told us about trying this since we were in town. The service is horrible. We scanned the QR code at the entry to ‘skip the line’. Terrible idea. Multiple employees said they didn’t see our order, didn’t know where it was. So it sat cold for 20 minutes. Ana attended me at the front desk after she forgot to give me my ice tea and flan in the drive trough window and gave me a wrong tropichop with such a nasty attitude ! I don’t understand what type of training they give there employees talking about “I did not make the sweet tea” Ana sight me up and down and turn her back on me. When I asked for the manager she stayed that they don’t make Sweety tea in the night shift, but I was sold it. I don’t understand why people that don’t like to work with the public are hire here. Ana was so stuck up and arrogant, such a shame this location has such great tasting food but a disgusting staff. Even in my face talking to the manager they were calling me complainer in the back and chame lagging that I complain for my $50 service. Corporate should look into what face Ana and her high school friends staff is giving to this location. Shame on you Ana go get another job if you hate the public so much. The service at this location is terrible. The employees barely acknowledge customers and are not pleasant to deal with (not a smile, a thank you or you’re welcome). The lobby itself was dirty and messy. The food was ok but honestly overpriced especially with us being treated as an inconvenience for even being there. Food was great. The atmosphere is very plain. Service when I ordered was excellent. When I went to get the food was ignored 3 young black girls were loud and yelling about another girl if she had worked the day before. Very unprofessional. I believe the manager even was there she was getting ready to leave and she allowed the behavior to continue and she ignored me as well. The place looked great, looks new, until you go into the lobby to eat. We were the only ones there. 7 people Behind the counter. You would think someone would clean the lobby. Oh. I can’t remember going there and they have everything we order. We have no ham for the Cuban sandwich. That was our last visit there. This is 5hr first pollo tropical I've experienced so I cannot compare it to the other chains yet. However, my experience was great. Speed of service to taste of food was great. A nice and flavourful fast food location.

I ordered ahead on my way home from a 14 hour day at work, thinking I can get in and out & be home at a reasonable hour! I arrived there at 9:40 pm to locked doors even though they close at 11! I asked where I would pick up my food to someone behind the counter and they pointed me to pick up! I said yes I was over there standing for awhile and there was no one there! They asked what name the order was under & I told them and they apologized but they didn’t have my order prepared! In the meantime everyone else was working on cleaning up and shutting down putting things away! They said they did not have what I ordered (obviously cuz the were cleaning up) so I ordered something else! I watched as he prepared my food and asked if certain items were in the bag and he reassured me he put everything in the bag! I walked out to the car and decided to check instead of taking his word and sure enough there were things missing! I wasn’t able to check all the meals and sure enough I got all the way home and my meals were ALL SCREWED UP!!!! Went through the drive through and ordered 3 grilled chicken Caesar salads and didn’t think that I should have to check them but now I wish I did. Never have I gotten it like this before. They didn’t even tell me that there were no croutons. 8.49 for a salad that there’s barely nothing there. And the girl at the window was rude like she was being bothered by having to take my money and give me my order. Will not be going to this one anymore.
