The food is fresh, healthy, and delicious. The person making the food was fast, helpful, and friendly. For poke bowls, there is an easy to use order sheet you fill out and give to them. I have tried the Ahi Tuna and Salmon poke with rice, noodles, and salad. The noodle or rice options I prefer. People with me got romen and they raved about it. We love this place. Not a chain and the quality is consistently amazing. It can be a little hard to get to since it's in the middle of the outdoor mall near the theater but well worth the effort for the food. One of the few things that makes this poke place unique is the ability to build your own poke bowl without having to actually talk to a human, which is amazing for people who struggle with that. If you want to build your own poke bowl, all you have to do is fill out a form and had it to an employee, and they will make your bowl while you enjoy the atmosphere of the store. The form has all the options and what is included with everything. Despite not interacting much with the staff when I handed in my form, I still had a very enjoyable experience with one of the employees who rang up my order. She was very friendly, and happy. Maybe because she didn't have to interact with me, who can't resist talking to anyone 😂 my poke bowl ended up having so much flavor with such simple and fresh ingredients. Absolutely love this place! I was not originally a fan of pokey.However, that changed when I found this restaurant. Her food is always very fresh and she is able to strike a good balance between all the different ingredients. I now find myself craving food from this eatery and as a bonus these foods are whole foods and very good for you! And on top of it, the attitude of everyone in the store is always pleasant:). This used to be one of our favorite places to get a poke bowl. The ingredients are always really fresh and flavorful. Unfortunately they have recently reduced their portion sizes and taken away the value that we used to get. Two scoops of poke is now the same size that one used to be. It’s sad to see yet another business trying to maximize their profits and forgetting to actually provide a reasonable value for the money As a follow up, I have been back a couple of times since and have indeed gotten better portions on subsequent trips

Disappointing. If you're wanting poke and are in the Southlands area you could go here, but don't expect much. First they are slightly more expensive for their size/scoop amount compared to other poke places. They also don't include miso soup for free, but charge an additional $2 for it. So the value here is really not that good. The quality of their ingredients is just average with no real special flavors to make them stand out in the sea of poke places that have popped up in the Denver metro area. I had a wonderful experience at PokeMen! The woman at the counter was so sweet and hospitable, and the location was clean and welcoming. I ordered the boba ice cream and spicy tuna poke, and both were delicious. The poke was fresh and flavorful, and the boba ice cream was creamy and not too sweet. I would definitely recommend PokeMen to anyone looking for a great poke bowl or boba ice cream! My kiddo and I went looking for a late V day treat after some stuff we had to do. It is now 8:30pm and where we were going to go, said they closed at 9:00. So when we got there, we were excited to enjoy one of our go to places but, they were closed even though, web sayd till 9:00!!! So, picky kid of mine decided that a Boba will work! So, we remembered this place which is across the parking lot from original plan. We walked in and the lady at the registered says sorry we are closed...its now 8:40 maybe they closed at 8:00. She allowed us to ask some questions and Next thing, we are ordering miso and BOBA. Then I go to pay and she says....you don't have cash do you, I already closed out and can only take cash. no I do not, I said i could run and grab some cash really quick, she said not to worry and she reopen the register to accommodate me and my situation! She even hooked up a little treat that they make there. I forgot what it was called but it was good!! Im assuming this lady was the owner, either way if she was or if she wasn't, she was super awesome for letting us come in and order even though she was closed and probably ready to go I appreciate that very much (plus it was cold outside). That is what good service looks like! we will be going back and their raspberry Boba and miso soup was oh so good!!! Absolutely love the poke story! We have been hoping for a poke restaurant closer to home. The poke story not only fits the bill but exceeds expectations! Lots of different options rice bowl, burrito or salad and create your own. We were too full from the delicious food, to try the ice cream but we look forward to the next visit. The interior is very cool, sleek and clean. The only thing I wish they had is an eel/unagi sauce. Definitely check the poke story out, you will not be disappointed!!
