About
It's great to taste French cuisine. Try perfectly cooked sea urchin, mushrooms and tapas at this restaurant. A lot of guests point out that waiters serve tasty chocolate soufflés, meringues and almond cakes here. Get your meal started with good port wine, champagne or whiskey. Great espresso, tea or lemonade are what can make you come back to Plumed Horse. Food delivery is an important advantage of this place. The well-trained staff works hard, stays positive and makes this place great. Enjoyable service is something visitors like here. You will appreciate fair prices. The modern decor and cozy ambiance let clients feel relaxed here. It's a Michelin one-star restaurant, the award is usually given for serving delicious dishes.

A great option for elevated dining in the Bay Area. The food is always excellent and its served in a chic, elegant atmosphere. The service is always kind and welcoming, but sometimes you can tell that they're still honing their craft. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

The Valet parking guy, a white guy with brown curly hair, was super rude. He simply ignored our inquiries and we had to get off the car to talk to him. He later refused to serve us. It was raining and we all got wet. The food was okey but doesn’t deserve the price. The Sacramento fish slice reminded me of lunch meat. The atmosphere felt like a pub, not a Michelin standard restaurant- waiters walking around all the time and I could feel the floor shaking. One of my favorite restaurants in the region. Jeffrey Perisho is a fantastic sommelier, the wine collection is to die for, lovely environment and ambience, spot-on and attentive service. I also highly the recommend the chef's table. A beautiful space. The larger private dining room across from it is also very nicely appointed for a business meeting or event. If this restaurant still merits a Michelin star, it has made me completely lose faith in the rating system. Food was overly salty, lacked flavour, and did not merit the price we paid for it. We called ahead to check if there were vegetarian options on the menu, and were assured there were. Two people in our party are vegetarian, and were served the same dish; a rehashed side dish along with a fritter one would expect to be on a kid’s menu. The non-vegetarian on our menu ordered a crab soufflé and a beef main, and was equally underwhelmed. All in all, I feel very ripped off. I've died and gone to heaven...if you want to impress someone special or even yourself, you need to bookmark The Plumed Horse in Saratoga! Go hungry and expect to spend a lot, but it's worth every penny. This place takes the term "fine dining" to a whole new level and goes above and beyond to make sure you're enjoying every minute of your time here. They take dietary restrictions very seriously so don't even worry if you think you won't be able to eat certain things on the menu. Don't forget to check out their impressive wine cellar before you leave!
