Clean wonderful atmosphere. Staff are prompt and courteous. They are also willing to alter menu items to accommodate inidividual taste. As a plus they sell Moxie!!! They also have a kid's room for children to play so definitely a family friendly restaurant. Food came out quickly, hot and fresh full of flavore. Fried dill pickles and munchers are divine. Calzone was great and my wife loved her sausage and meatball sub. Fries were hot and fresh.
Picture worthy! The staff was busy tonight but they made the most beautiful breadsticks. These are my go to cheat meals. Thank you for making great dough
Great sandwiches, great pizza, great Whoopie Pie! As a New Yorker I'm very glad to find pizza with good crust!! Service Take out Meal type Lunch Price per person $20–30

I had to edit my review from 4 years ago from 5 stairs to 1. Every time I order from here , there is always an issue with the food from undercooked to overcooked. Their crust gets sweeter and sweeter every year, and just today, I ordered a pizza, and 3 slices didn't have pepperoni in the box. When my mom called to complain, the management hung up on her. The food has been declining for years, and that experience was the last straw. They have completely lost my business. Service Take out Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Had the worst pizza there. I have eaten there since I was a young and tonight the pizza was overly spicy to the point that I could not eat it. When I called to let them know and just to see if they were doing something different, I was told it was they same way they have been making it for years. Whoever the gentleman was that answered the phone was nasty and had the worst customer service! I will no longer recommend anyone eat here. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
I wish I had known Pizza Gourmet was known for their whoopie pies before I ordered! I would have tried those out too. Maybe next time. As far as accommodations go, Pizza Gourmet has a shared parking lot with plenty of spaces. They have a cozy dining area that can fit quite a few people, so don't worry about bringing a larger party out to eat. The pizza is decent. The pie had a golden brown base with a nice, fluffy crust. The sauce was tasty and the cheese was of good quality. There are a few spices sprinkled on top of the cheese which add some complexity - but I keep getting an interesting hint of cinnamon. It's certainly unusual. Overall, this is a decent spot with friendly staff and fast service.

I called ahead to have 3 pizzas ready for 5pm for the fireworks crew for Hampden Children's Day. Excellent service, even better pizza! Great sauce, cooked to perfection. Definitely will be going back Service Take out Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20
Best pizza anywhere near Bangor. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
They have some of the best pizza around, the flavor of the dough, the sauce, etc. They also have the best woopie pie around, no question! Paul and his family are friendly and good owners, and even though we've live in Hermon for the past 15 years, we still make it over to Pizza Gourmet for good grub! Matter of fact, I'll be over today to get a couple sandwiches for lunch. Keep up the good work folks!
