First time visiting Pippal and we are very pleased. Staff was very polite and friendly. The paneer tikka, dahi vada were damn delicious. Trio tikka is good too.. however chicken dak bungalow is trip down the memory lane as this is something you don’t get here in bay and my hunch was right this is what home made chicken would taste like when made by your loved one.. the thickness of gravy and tenderness of leg piece made it a delight.. squeeze some lemon along with a butter naan for a good experience.. For drinks, my favorite is pineapple cilantro .. it has a tangy taste.. Update after couple more visits: -CST drink is pretty amazing and has a nice kick to it.. -Butter chicken was a let down, gravy was thin and not really thick as one would expect.. on a sweeter side per se.. may be you could like it, I didn’t! -Tunday kabab is ok to good.. (needs bit more spice for the kick after each bite) -Burrah kabab is good to great.. (tender lamb chops) We have a new favorite in the bay!

Food was bad! The chane with the kulcha smelled bad. The vada pao sliders and paneer wrap were just spice and no flavor. The vegetable stuffed momo was just cauliflower. I ended up throwing all the food away! Service Take out Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30 Food: 1 Service: 1

Went to this place to have some good food. Place exceeded our expectations. Knowledgeable and motivated staff. We had the cocktails with rasam and vodka, it was superb. Goan Beer. The litti choka was to die for, Tunde kabab, always my favourite. @Izler Thomas was very passionate about his bar menu and was a pleasure interacting with him. Ambience was great, and on a warm sunny winter day it was a perfect setting, we ended up sitting there for 2 hours, very unlike us to spend so much time for lunch. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Hospitality unquestionably great, but food sucks.

Pippal offers a wide range of vegetarian options, but unfortunately, the taste didn't match up to expectations. We tried the Amritsari kulcha, Paneer Makhani, and Chilli Garlic Naan. The kulcha lacked stuffing, the Paneer Makhani was overly sweet and watery, and the Chilli Garlic Naan lacked the expected flavors and was too chewy. For the price paid, the food was disappointing. I wouldn't recommend Pippal; Rooh seems to be a better choice. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $50–100 Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 1

Food was good but service was not good, and that matters when the restaurant is on the pricier side. First set of drinks came after the small plates, dirty plates were kept on the table for a long time, second set of drinks came after main course was done. Not sure if it's always like this or if they were just overwhelmed with the number of reservations for Valentine's day. Would recommend going to a different restaurant.
