I absolutely loved this bar. The bartender Stacy rocks and makes perfect drinks. The bar is beautiful inside and has slot machines that pay out (well for me). Go on Thursday and Friday afternoon and Stacy will be there. Have a great time.
If you read reviews to make your decisions then disregard older reviews. I've not personally witnessed any drinking related issues, and keep in mind this lounge has new owners. All bartenders have been friendly and professional.
Second Friday I've been in here and the bartender gets super wasted and only waits on people buying her shots. I dont have a problem with you having fun at work but if you cant function properly maybe find another job. I'll spend my money elsewhere
Been a couple times on business trips. Nothing but rude bartenders that cater only to regulars and old drunk people. If you are a traveler just avoid this place. Once a fight even broke out because of an apparent employee off duty being drunk
Came to meet a college with a group of 10 or 12 people for pizza and beer from the fair. They would not be serve us because of a bartender (liz) holding a grudge from 2 days ago told julie (the current bartender) not to serve us. Went next door to Mawies cue , was id'ed with respect, everyone came and had a great time. Looks like Bartender's will put Peir 55 out of business with there attitude like they are the owner of the place.
Wish there ownr all the best but bartenders make and break a place. My thoughts are to go next door to Mawies cue for a friendly, plesent place to have a drink. Outsiders stay away from Peir 55 they seem not to be welcome at Peir 55.
