Go for the meat pie, stay for the live entertainment! I saw a band called Ampliphobia there recently. Awesome show! Pie shop features the cream of the local indie music scene crop. The drinks aren't bad either!

The pies were great! I got the SMOG pie and after, I liked it so much I got the Strawberry Rhubarb! Both had a good crust and great filling eithiut being too dry. The SMOG had a great amount of meat and could come with a salad and the Strawberry Rhubarb was the right amount of tart and sweet. The ambiance is really nice and there are tables to eat inside too!

Such a fun eatery and venue! Found out about this place while researching local concerts/shows. Pies were great, I wish I had the chance to try more pies on their menu. Headed upstairs for a punk show after eating the slice of pie. For me, this was a new experience and a really good one! I will definitely visit again. Worth looking for parking! Big variety of delicious pies! They even have a rooftop to hang out on, but it was closed around 2pm when we were there so we will have to pop in again sometimes.

Their pies are amazing as always but through the years the staff has seemingly become less and less interested in customer service or friendliness towards customers. In addition, they no longer sell beer downstairs at the pie shop, only upstairs at the venue when it's open. I used to like eating here but the atmosphere has become kind of unwelcoming so, I usually pick up my slices and eat them elsewhere. Food: 5 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2

I played a show here and had a wonderful time. Outdoor space, pies downstairs are wonderful, reminded me a lot of the UK. I only had the savory chicken pie but I would certainly come back and have some sweet pies.

One of the sickest venues I've been to in the city and the food is amazing! Been a fan of the chicken pie for years and it never lets me down. I have a hard time choosing so I usually come home with too much food. If you're on H St NE this place is a must for drinks, great handmade pies, rooftop deck and live music!
