Road tripped to the chicken capital visiting area of youth fishing trips to strip pits. Love history of food places and Pichler's Chicken Annies has that in the chicken family lore of KS. Chicken was good, I like more spice in my skin, wife loved it. Enjoyed the sides of german potato salad cold, green beans were amazing explosion of bacon flavor- highly recommend. Mushroom appetizer was good choice. Nice touch of sliced bread basket and vegetable oil spread - where's some real butter?? Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

One of two local iconic chicken dinner restaurants in southeast Kansas that I find really comparable to each other in excellent quality. Perhaps fighting words, but I enjoyed my giblets dinner.
