This restaurant is a neighborhood gem! I can't say enough about the delicious, inventive, and flavorful menu! The chef is top notch! Roland is a rare restaurateur that truly appreciates every customer and aims to make the dining experience memorable. The waitstaff are always professional and you can sense their passion. Kate at the bar makes the best skinny margarita! We will continue to return again and again. My husband and I visited on Valentine’s Day. We made a reservation through open table a week before. As soon as we entered we were greeted warmly and promptly seated. The restaurant is intimate and nicely secorated. Our server was Kait and she is absolutely amazing! My husband had a whiskey sour and I stuck to water, and she was kind enough to offer lemon/lime. They serve warm bread with olive oil, salt and pepper. We ordered the braised short rib meatballs and the lobster bisque soup as appetizers. Our main dishes were the filet mignon and pork chop. We were both satisfied with our choices. My pork chop was delicious and nowhere near dry which was great. For dessert we ordered the cheesecake. Overall it was a great date night and we hope to return in the near future. Thanks to Kait and everyone else we interacted with, the staff is phenomenal! Not only is the food here amazing, but the service is impeccable. We love everyone who works here, Roland is so accommodating, and we always leave feeling like we had a great dining experience. The way that they prepare their branzino here is probably my favorite fish dish on LI. The octopus is incredible, and the eggplant Parmesan melts in your mouth. My boyfriend and I came here to celebrate his birthday last month. We ordered: SPRITE Mocktail Fritto Misto (fried calamari) Linguine Frutti Di Maree (seafood linguine) Casarecce Tiramisu This restaurant is beautiful. The seafood linguine/ linguine Fruitti Di Maree was underwhelming (portion and flavors). They included fried slices of lemon in our fried calamari which was extremely odd. I enjoyed their passionfruit mocktail, casarecce and tiramisu. Our server, Amanda was awesome, loving & passionate about working here. She loves the restaurant, the food, wine, and her coworkers. And that’s what I enjoy seeing. The food including entree did take a long while to come out from the kitchen and we did wait a while to have our orders taken (reason I removed a star). I will come back and try the salmon entree and the lobster ravioli entree my mom said she loved when she came here.
