I was craving noodle soup today and saw that this was close by. It was definitely a great choice and solid spot for pho! I ordered their “Pho Dac Biet” or house special pho with fried egg roll side and a Thai tea. The broth in the pho was excellent and I loved that the noodles were a lot thinner than I’m used but now I prefer it that way. The meats were excellent and the overall soup was phenomenal. The egg roll side was also a great addition and their Thai tea was great. I would definitely come back here again to try their other menu items. Pholicious is a very consistent and dependable Vietnamese restaurant specializing in, as the name suggests, Pho. Their rice vermicelli salads and appetizers are just as good though!. You can't go wrong with anything you order here. Service is always friendly and prompt. In terms of atmosphere, the place looks well organized and super clean including the restrooms. Prices have gone up but not irrationally, like in so many other full service restaurants in LA County. Give them a try, you will not be disappointed! I was raised in and around Vietnamese culture, so I have a great sense of taste to all Vietnamese food, including things not even some Asian Americans will eat. That said, my first experience is this; very good attentive service. The noodles were perfectly cooked and not rushed (Asian noodles should never be "al dente" and this place definitely does them right). They do not use chemicals. I had their House Special with chili oil of course. And Vietnamese Egg Rolls with spicy fish sauce. Absolutely love it. I'm coming back to build my own Pho. Their cafe sua dau is also very rich and creamy and it doesn't over-power with sweetness like Lee's Sandwiches does. All-in-all, I highly recommend this hidden Fountain Valley jewel off Slater near Euclid. This place is to Pho what In N Out is to burgers. Seriously. The restaurant is SUPER CLEAN. Everything is perfectly arranged and the turning of tables is very smooth. I was very impressed. It was almost like ballet the way they fluently run the dining area. They make AUTHENTIC CHEMICAL FREE VIETNAMESE PHO here home style, so I do not recommend any American who is content with a limited palate. If you are about flavor with no frills, this is your place. As a former sous chef, if I worked for Michelin, I would definitely recommend them for a Michelin Star.
