This is the kind of place you'd be lucky to find in a town many times the size of Alpine. The owner has socked her proverbial cellar with interesting wines from around the world. The food was also phenomenal, with delicious options for everyone, including the vegans in our party.

Great experience. Plan to spend a couple of hours. Enjoy wine and whatever delicious bites of food you are offered. It feels like a European countryside cafe. So quaint and charming :)

Petit resto très sympa, accueil chaleureux, tenue par une amoureuse de vin français. Boire un cote du Rhone servi dans un pot de confiture Bonne Maman est pour le moins original….

A genuinely nice, unpretentious French-style place managed by the loveliest human. I will definitely stop by here again if I'm in Alpine.

My husband and I were visiting SW Texas, and we stopped in Alpine. After dinner, we walked around town, and we ended up on Murphy Street. The train was at the station blocking our path, so we ended up having drinks at Petit Bijou. The owner kept the place open for us and gave us great recommendations for the rest of our trip. She also suggested a nice cabernet to end my evening. Great atmosphere and friendly vibes!
