Ordered through UberEats. Horrible follow through, of either the cook, the expiditer, or management over all. No oversight what so ever and I doubt anyone will take responsibility. My order was not fully completed, Food was missing, and side condiments were non existing. Never ordering again from Perkins. And I doubt effort will be put into correcting these issues, I encourage you reader, to avoid this place, and let it go out of business. I'm out of town and was excited to see a Perkins as I haven't been in so long. I'm visiting for a week and a half and I appreciate that they're open late. The first time I ordered, I got the kid's grilled cheese which came with a side salad (asked for ranch dressing), a soda and a sugar cookie. I was getting it to go, I had just landed and didn't want a big meal because I was going to have dinner in 3 hours, but I hadn't eaten all day. Anyway, it said it would be ready in 20 minutes. I arrived to an empty restaurant and the only to-go order after the 20 minute wait time. The guy at the front was saying they were still working on it, but the guy that came from the back said it was ready. I should have checked because by the time I brought it back to my hotel I realized there wasn't a salad and there wasn't the sugar cookie. I just got a cold grilled cheese with a side of ranch. Which I can understand if you're busy but literally no one was in the restaurant and it took 25 min to prepare my kids meal. The next time I decided to try again since I needed to get take out and it's near my hotel. Roads were icy and I didn't want to drive far. This time my husband and I ordered 2 regular entrees. Mine came with a salad and pie, his came with 2 sides. The meals were filling and warm. The pie was a large portion. But they forgot his side of green beans and didn't include utensils and napkins like we had asked. I didn't have any in my hotel room so that was a bummer. Luckily the front desk did. Again, there wasn't anyone in there and it took over an hour and a half for them to make our food, so by the time we ate we had to go to sleep, we didn't have any relaxing time because we had to wait so long for our meal. I am not attempting to come to this one ever again. It's so slow and they leave out items. I went here with my friends who had 3 children, it was not a family friendly environment, the server seemed agitated as she served us, our food didn’t come out all together, one order was missing what was supposed to be on the burger, one of the workers smelled heavily of alcohol. I asked about a condiment that came with an appetizer I ordered, she told me they don’t have it despite it being on the menu, I let it go but she was very rude about it. We also got no refills the entire time we were there. Overall, this used to be a great restaurant but I will not be returning in the future. My little girl really wanted to come here for her birthday dinner. The food was okay, the restaurant had an unpleasant smell to it. Our waitress was new and really trying but the assistant manager is nothing but rude & unpleasant. I assure you she is costing your business & wait staff money! You need better management ASAP! Went there for a meeting, ordered coffee and water to start with. Told the waitress we would order food as soon as the meeting was over. We sat there in the meeting for maybe 20 minutes. As soon as we were done, we began flipping through the menu, but neither the waitress nor the manager on shift ever came back. The place was not busy, and we weren't out of sight by any means. After waiting another 10 minutes, we decided to leave. Took our money to the front, and there sat the waitress and manager. Not pleased with this experience at all. We usually love this business, but haven't had great experiences the past couple times we've been here. Service Dine in Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3
Walked in at 9:58 PM. Because of short staff and their night cook called out they were closing 2 hours early. Cody(beautiful young lady) still took my order and did not turn me away. Went above and beyond. The cook, Grover did so with no hesitation or I’ll will or that “I’m ready to go home why’d you come here” vibe. Customer service at its finest.
