The boss is super patient, he takes the time to explain how hairy crab rearing was introduced in Miaoli and how he started in the trade.
As it’s our first time having hairy crab, he took the time to teach us how to choose quality crabs and even taught us how to eat it. As my body constitution could not take excessive “cooling” food, he even helped me remove the heart of the crab.
We ate the steamed hairy crab indoors which is part of the boss’s house. It feels like we’re invited to have a meal at a local family home.
