Super busy place and the wait for food was a bit long so don’t go when you are starving. Salmon 🍣 lox needed a bit dill cream cheese or some element to lift it. Beef au jus was super dry with really hard bread. I love this bakery for breakfast, brunch, or lunch! Can't recommend the tiramisu crepe and spinach artichoke croissant enough. The vibes are also quite nice inside. Decent sandwiches and good desserts. One complaint I do have is when I ordered a gooey bar, the piece they gave me was the smallest pieces out of the batch and you could tell it was already falling apart, even though there were way better bars out of the batch. Customer service was friendly though.

We love Pekara for baked goods (the best croissants- especially the almond), lunch, and coffee! The staff is always kind, and on the rare occasion there’s a mistake they always make it right. Use to love coming here when we first moved to town. Last couple years or so it just is nowhere near what it use to be. Last three times we've been theyve been out of something and dont communicate that, theyve just replaced the items and let us go home to the wrong things. We could have just ordered something else if that was the case. This last one had me the most irritated because we specifically asked if they still had everything we were ordering. Then we get home to a broken, watery cup of gawd knows what and some bread scraps that look like i just robbed a soup kitchen. That just leaves such a bad taste in your mouth when youre trying to eat too. It just is not worth it anymore. Dont know if theyve had new owners in the recent years or what. Me and my partner ate there yesterday. Got a breakfast sandwich and Beef Au Jus. Both were very expensive and tasted poor. Beef was oily and flavorless, sandwich tasted old and hard to chew. We both also got very sick afterwards for the day. Can't recommend eating here with their high prices and poor food. Their coffee drinks are decent. Two of my favorite things from their menu: almond croissants and roasted red pepper and gouda soup. Today I tried the pumpkin crepe and it is a new favorite. It was filled with pumpkin puree and a sweet mascarpone type filling.
