I'm not a big fan of sandwiches. HOWEVER. The mozzarella and capocollo was incredible! A foot-long sandwich, coffee for less than $10. Pictured is only half of the sandwich, of course.

Wonderful bakery with fresh baked bread and sandwiches. I ordered the prosciutto and mozzarella sandwich and they put plenty of meat. Their prices are very reasonable. I bought a small baguette for $1 and the sandwich for $7.99. They only take cash.

Did I just find the best eggplant parm Sandwhich in JC?! Stopped in here for a few baguettes and noticed they sell eggplant Parm sandwiches. It took 15 minutes to get mine but WOW. They prepared it fresh and baked it in the coal oven on fresh baked bread…unreal. Highly recommend. Ask them to scoop the bread.

Low priced options for lunch. Amazing bread and fresh mozzarella. One of my local favs...You can get a massive sandwich with fresh mozzarella (love the shredded lettuce) for only $6...cash-only here... And the cookies are amazing... Go for the rainbow cookies...
3 stars because bread is good. Terrible counter person. Bought a long roll and a sandwhich roll. Asked for it to be sliced for a sandwhich and made the motion with my hand. She threw it in the bread slicer. When I explained again that i wanted it for a sanswhich she said nothing grabbed another roll cut it and charged me again.
Pecoraro aka antique bakery is a great spot for fresh bread and some key sandwiches. As far as their bread, they've got a solid variety and also have breads stuffed with, eggplant, olives, sausage, or pepperoni. They're chicken parm is, I think, the best in jersey city. They toast the bread, have a good amount of juicy white chicken breast on it, good sauce, good cheese, and what they don't that gives it the extra pop it needs and you didn't realize a chicken parm needed prior to having it, was graded parmigiana cheese on top. It's called a parmigiana because of where it derives from in Italy, not the mozzarella cheese they use, but now you can get a parm with parm on it.

This is an important bakery. I swerve bread on most occasions quite easily now because if I am going to indulge it had better be worth it - it hardly ever is. The bread from this bakery? I go out of my way to eat the bread and focaccia from here. The whole wheat big boys, sliced thick and toasted crispy are the ultimate substrate for and equally chunky avocado topping. And now you know most of the secret ingredients to some of the wildly successful restaurant’s (within walking distance) avocado toast.

Absolutely love Antique Bakery and the customer service. Annalisa, Mehdi, and James are soooo cool to us. Granted we’ve been there 3 or 4 times but from the first time they have provided a great experience from the jump. They knew exactly what a Hugo Speriz was and as always they make the best food. The food is top notch with natural ingredients from the menu.
OwOwnern has been baking bread since he was in diapers. Remember from Hoboken back in the days '80s late '90s
