Place was amazing. The chicken is very crispy and the Mac and cheese is hands down some of the best I’ve ever tasted. The employees are also super friendly too. I found a new place to tell everyone about how!

This quaint gem has the best tasting catfish and white fish in the Jackson area. The staff was welcoming, professional, and engaged in conversation. I will definitely return when I'm back in Jackson. My husband and I went there today for the first time based on other reviews from the site. I must say that they didn’t disappoint not one bit. Everything was good and hot. My experience was not so great. I am hoping it was just an off day but the food was not good at all and the packaging was poor(Nothing like what's in the photos from the other reviews).
If it's going to be take-out only.... then the packaging we have to take- it-out in needs to be top tier. Lbvs!
But they were sweet and friendly. I'll give them that. I really hope this new location survives!

Ms. Carter, Raymond, and Gloria were nice. Ribs, yams, and green beans were great. Just wish I had some cornbread. I ate all my food. Will be back Friday or Saturday for brisket.
It was decent, you can tell most of the sides are either canned or store bought. I was expecting fresh hot sauce and tarter sauce, but both were pre-packaged store bought. Greens were super watery and flavorless as they were straight from the can. They had no idea how the potatoe salad was made when we asked, obviously not made there either. The mashed potatoes were severely salty, and I personally like my food on the saltier side. The corn bread was extremely dry. Most of the food we bought went to waste.
