Wow! What a magical place. We came here two nights in a row. It was a lovely 15 minute walk from the beach. We sat on the rooftop with a great view of the sunset and sipped cocktails. The selection of food was excellent and they had a few great vegetarian options. The service was excellent and the homely, friendly vibe really made us feel welcome and comfortable. Oh and the food was all incredible!! Highly recommend!!

The owner, Made, is such a nice girl! She let us check-out almost at the end of the day so that we can take a shower after beach and before leaving the island.

I wholeheartedly recommend the Peanut and Butter Bistro and Boutique to anyone seeking a delightful escape with a touch of artistic charm.
While staying near the beach we had dinner here for two nights. The food was amazing - best food we had in Africa and some of the best food we have had full stop. Lovely views from the rooftop terrace, excellent service and very reasonable prices. Only a short walk from the beach but very safe and the Google maps location is accurate. The second night we recommended it to the rest of the group and they all loved it as well.
This place was an absolute gem of a find. We came for dinner and it was the best food we have had for our whole 5 week trip. Amazing flavours, superb service and a great vibes in the cosy rooftop restaurant. Everyone who comes to this island should make sure they visit for the food!
We went for a dinner and food was simply GREAT! Presentation was lovely and taste was fantastic. Definitely the best place for food in Nungwi and Kendwa. Go and enjoy! You will not be disappointed!

Great menu selection with a very reasonable prices, the taste and quality of the food is amazing, the service is super friendly, and a very homey and warm atmosphere. I’ve been there many times, tried most of the food and it’s great every time.

We had diner in this restaurant with my boyfriend. The owner is really lovely and the place is so cute ! The food was really good as well, it was honestly one of the best food I had during our stay in Tanzania.

We had been given a recommendation to go here and OH MY GOODNESS, it did not disappoint.
The roof top terrace is a beautiful place to watch the sunset and just relax.
The staff are super friendly.

The combination of ingredients/flavours is perfection on a plate, it just makes you want to go back to try something different again and again, which we will be doing until we leave

We are well travelled and can honestly say this is right up there with the best !!!
We have a visited Zanzibar before and if we do come back which I’m sure we will, we will makes sure we are within travelling distance of this restaurant.

Amazing and calming atmosphere at Peanut and Butter!
The rooms are wonderful, it gives you a feeling of being at home, very relaxing. The breakfast it’s just wow, best I had on the island! And I’ve been here back and forth for six years! The service and food are amazing as well. It’s a must on Zanzibar!
