This is a fantastic local pastry shop called Pâtisserie L'amande. It is frequented by locals, the pastries/cakes are delicious and the staff are very helpful. We discovered it by accident and love the selection. Many items are 5 DH (Dhirams) each to take away, that's just under 50 pence (GBP). They have a couple of tables if you want to eat in (but I'm not sure if the prices might be a bit more, for eat in). It appears it was called Pâtisserie Lawza and is still shown as such on Google Maps (as of 15 October 2022). I have suggested an edit and hope Google Maps will make the update. The bakery of my childhood when we came for holidays every summer to essaouira and now 20 years later, same quality and I just cannot come to essaouira and not get their amazing pastries.
