Went here on recommendations, totally worth what I had read. The cakes are divine, I tried 2 but seriously could of bought 1 of each and all at exceptional prices. The staff are very friendly and happy with a very relaxed atmosphere. Another must visit in Essaouira!! Price per person MAD 1–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
A place that travels you through times with its beautiful paintings and diverse flavours. Very low prices and tasty pastries make this a local favourite. The terrace in the back is a nice place to soak in the sun without much wind!
I do understand all the vibe about this place. It opens early, it offers plenty of cakes and pastries and their breakfast menus are amazing! If you like croissants, pain au chocolat it’s perfect for you but if you want to change take the bread (Moroccan) butter and jam breakfast menu! Their semi-hidden terrace in the back is incredible.

Best one is the apple croissant! Lovely desserts--I think the most famous bakery here. Must get something while in essaouira--always a long line here

I went there 4 times, and my score of 4 stars is an average of my experiences. , Very good coffee. However, I found the pastry not that good, surprisingly, as their reputation is based on this for almost a century. Where you are seated is very noisy even on an occasion I went there while they were doing renovation inside, a few feet away from where you have a drink thinking you will relax.
Pastries are pretty good but nothing outstanding. The waitress is extremely rude and not avoid communicating with customers

The place is very nice and aesthetic, the food quality was very low, the pastries are embarrassing, the staff are rude, you don’t get informed that you need to serve yourself so you keep waiting for the server until you go and ask for yourself. In all words, it’s not worth the hype…

I've heard a lot of things about this coffee shop . Drinks were good at a reasonable price. But the moroccan pastries were not worth the hype and the price , at 7dh one piece you can find them otherwise a better quality and reasonable cost.
