Tried the famous patakha chicken and i admit it was worth visiting nathia gali just for this dish. Its a bit spicy but add on chatni makes it super depicious
Having just walked all the way to Miranjani peak and back to Nathiagali i was famished and when my friend suggested this restaurant I was skeptical not knowing much about it. But then it turned out to be a wonderful experience. The patakha chicken roast was served in under 10 minutes, with raita and their signature sauce. The naans were fresh and piping hot, perhaps the best I have ever had. Fresh water and seven up was deftly ordered to wash it down. The chicken was very well cooked and tender down to the last bite. I must say it has been a great experience having food at this restaurant. The place is very approachable with parking space. But it will be wise to park at some distance and walk up to the restaurant. The restaurant is clean, the ambiance not bad and service is really fast. I find the staff to be courteous. The bathroom was really clean which is rare in Pakistan. Overall an excellent experience. Please keep it up. Thanks

Taj mahel nathiagali and lalazar one of most nostalgic places with lots of childhood memories since 80s.
Taj mahel has completely lost it since demise of its owner azad khan but lalazar in ayyubia is still living upto its name and continuing the legacy offering amazing taste since last 50 years.
Excellent moist and juicy choocha that also inspired us to add it to virsa's menu. Not chewy at all unlike pattakha chicken of afaq and taj. The deep fried chilli flakes and their spicy loaded chutney adds another level kick to the chicken.
Highly recommended
Owners are so humble and down to earth ppl.

The chicken is out of this world... Service is stupid because they don't really know how to seat where to seat but they're nice on general and the food totally makes up for it... Just a heads up: make sure you go there with some waiting time in mind because it's a busy place

The hotel and restaurant are well built, clean and speciaous. Food is OK n economically priced. Staff need to be trained in customer handling... the best place to eat is on the rooftop.
The Authentic Original Oldest Recipe of "Patakha Chiken" Taste is really different and amazing. Must Try food. Even rooms are too good. It is a corner Hotel and you get a chance to have corner room at top floor you will enjoy morning.

I love spicy food so we tried the infamous patakha chicken. It felt like it was a very average chicken dipped in chilli oil. That's it. Nothing interesting about the flavours or the chicken quality. Not for me.
The peas rice we ordered was good though.

Patakha chicken was good. Atmosphere is meh and the service was average.
Would recommend it while in Nathiagali for a late lunch or dinner. Nothing special though.
