Very cute restaurant. We went on a Saturday morning. They open at 9am which seems a bit late for a breakfast restaurant. They seated our group in the nice back room. We ordered the beignets and they were so good. The dishes we ordered were all good except for the crab that was used on the benedicts. What a bummer! There were tons of shells in the crab and we ended up eating around the crab. No comped meals and was given 20% off only. This was great to eat at. The food is hearty and different. Going to restaurants we like to try food you can't get anywhere and this place had that something different. By far the best food we’ve had in CA. Shrimp and grits was flavorful, perfectly prepared and as good as any I’ve had in Louisiana. Make this place one of your stops. You won’t regret it! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I have eaten here many times and am never disappointed. It’s always busy , but the service is professional, efficient and friendly. The food is DELICIOUS.
