So this is my first time here. This place was pretty cold inside. And it was pretty cold outside too. I think their heater was broken. Not sure? But I decided to sit down and eat. It took a fair time to cook. The server brought me my pizza. My pizza was kind of cold, but it was good. The price was okay. Maybe it came at the wrong time. But it did the job. Nice little hole-in-the-wall place. We stopped by on our way out of town. My wife had been there as a kid and wanted to relive memories and see if their mushroom pineapple sandwich still held up - it did. I had the Turkey BLT. The turkey was tender and delicious, the bread soft with a crispy grill char on it, and the combination of ingredients were great. We had an enjoyable meal before heading home on the road. Not impressed at all! My husband ordered the Italian or something like that but I didn’t eat anything cause it wasn’t a clean place! The sausage is very good and my husband did enjoy his sandwich…thank goodness! Several tables were in need of being cleaned off and they weren’t busy… we were the only ones in the restaurant… and yes the two employees were too lazy to clean off five tables! Awful experience here this evening. Ordered two simple sandwiches and one cheese pizza. We waited for over 30 minutes, then checked on our order. No one was making our order or it got lost among the 3 young employees working. We were the only people sitting at a table in the restaurant and the employees could clearly see we didn’t have our food yet. They were all just standing around. The employees were rude when we asked them if they could see we didn’t have our order. We already had paid for our food, so it took us an hour to wait for food we never got and then another 15 minutes for the young employees to figure out how to refund our money. Absolutely disappointed with the terrible service, kids who have no work ethic or customer service conscience. We usually love this place, but don’t think I’ll ever come back.

I was so disappointed. I have heard so many times how papa Kelsey's is the best pizza in town so tonight I finally tried it. I should have taken a hint when the place was almost completely deserted on a Saturday night right at 6pm but I wanted to try. The building was absolutely freezing. My pizza was completely cold in the middle right as they took it out of the oven. There was no flavor whatsoever. They put the toppings under the cheese which made everything fall right off the bread. I would honestly get little Cesar's pizza or a frozen pizza from the store before coming back here again. Really yummy subs that melt in your mouth and are so warm, perfect for rainy days! Occasionally extremely busy, typically around lunchtime. When that’s the case food takes forever to come out, so I usually try and go during the slower hours which even then it usually takes awhile. Prices are decent, just under $10 for a 6in sub, chips, and drink. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Yikes. In case the pictures don't speak for themselves, this was supposed to the "wrangler" sandwich with "Steak, Mushrooms, Onions, BBQ Sauce, Pineapple & Melted Cheese." No cheese, or sauce, which hardly matters, since it was, in our opinion, not edible. We immediately threw the half-empty "soup" away. It was supposedly "potato." There were no potatoes. It was like someone added a lot of milk to a can of store brand potato chowder. Since we ordered at the end of the night, I suspect that we wound up with whatever was left in the pot. Now, I know what you're thinking: At the least the pizza is good, right? I apparently neglected to take a picture of ours, but it was like revisiting the high school cafeteria. I mean, we ate it because we paid for it and we were hungry, but it wasn't particularly good. The soup and sandwich went into the trash. :-(

My wife and I had a coupon that if we buy one half sandwich (6”) and two medium drinks, we get one half sandwich free. The coupon also had a limit if $6 discount. What is bizarre is that there isn’t a single half sandwich on the menu less than $6.89. Very strange wording: one 6” sandwich free up to $6. My wife and I are not normally one to buy drinks, so in the end it would have been cheaper for us to buy one full length sandwich and split it. So if you typically buy drinks, it was a good deal. But a medium drink is $2.69 each. It did come with a bag of chips which we weren’t expecting and that was nice. The bag is about the size of a normal 1oz bag of chips but it had half the amount of chips. So probably a 1/2 oz bag (haha I can’t remember what it said on the bag). I bought the Italian combo and while the sandwich does not look like what I would have expected, I was pleasantly surprised at how good it tasted. And the staff were very friendly. Overall our experience was good. We just spent more than we thought we would have with the coupon we had. Service Take out Meal type Lunch Price per person $1–10

I really had high expectations for this place from everyone that told me how good it is, I got a chef salad and its basically ham, turkey and cheese where is the avocado or cucumbers? Salad was so watery I could have had a drink after, the fries were mush but had a good flavor, the salad was not worth 7 dollars!! Not a great first impression.
