I found the star to be quite nice to us. Even though it was a crazy busy morning with all the locals, the staff managed to take their time and explain what some of the baked goods were. There’s a review here that says otherwise about the staff but I just say, that person may have had their own bad vibes in their day, because everyone there treated us kindly. They’re gentle people. The pastel de nata were so good. But then again, we didn’t have one bad pastel de nata in Portugal! The espresso was perfections. And the even have a type of muffin, I think they called it torta which means cake I guess? Anyways it was also so good. Not too sweet, just perfect and moist! Can I say moist? Yes it’s a little pricey, but you’re directly on the beach in a touristy area so rent must be high and therefore the patrons will carry that cost while enjoying the beautiful ocean views at the tip of their nose. Definitely go here! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Great spot before getting on the bus (5 minutes away) the grilled cheese with ham was great and the coffee as well. I took some pastries to go and it hit the spot!
Cool local place (a little noisy though). Super friendly stuff. The lowest prices I have ever seen here. Fast service. Good coffee (also decaf). Pastries are tasty as well. Service Dine in Meal type Other Price per person €1–5 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Nice bakery and cafe with typical Portugese pastries, quite busy. We bought their white bread rolls for breakfast (the ones to the back left), as they had a very good texture inside. Big minus for not taking card. How is this possible in 2023 when it is so easy for a business to accept card payments...? They could easily make a rule saying you can pay with a card over 5 euro for instance.

Not sure why this place shows “Temporarily closed” on Google but it’s OPEN. The pastries and coffee are some of the best we’ve had in Portugal. The ladies that work here are lovely too. I want to have one of everything in the case. Don’t miss this place if you are visiting Nazaré.

Went in to get some pastries, stayed for lunch. Most likely one of the cheapest lunch places in the area. Wasn't anything fancy but got the belly full. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person €5–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Had espresso and Bolas de Berlim, and Pastel de nata, so incredibly fresh! Nice selection and nice staff!
The waitress did not speak a word of English. We had a problem with other guests who wanted to steal our table and she was therefore the opposite of a help.
Open early I think 6 am. Love this for the morning birds.
