Walked in and ordered. Sit down and waited only to find out 45 minutes later that it would be another hour on our food because we didn’t order through the app and food through their app was timed. It was a busy day but an hour and 45 minutes from the time we ordered to get a couple sandwiches, ain’t no way. They were good enough to give us our money back so they earned the 1 star. Service: 1

This Panera Bread is what most people expect for this restaurant, which is a good thing. I particularly liked the lady who took my order because I needed recommendations on what to eat and she did a great job helping me. The breakfast sandwich I got was good. I have gone to this PB location for years as I regularly travel from Tennessee to Mississippi and have always been pleased with my experience. This was my first time eating at this location and I haven’t had Panera Bread in years. I love the set up and the convenience of ordering either at a table from the app or at the kiosk machine at the front entrance of the store. I had the barbecue chicken flat bread and broccoli cheese soup yummy yummy. The place was pretty packed but there was still enough seating available. I dined in and enjoyed a little quick family time and some awesome lunch. Great great great food and experience I’ll definitely be back! Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $30–50
This Panera is typically pretty busy and can take a while to place your order. It’s also pretty hard to find a seat so that can be frustrating. The food came out pretty hot and good except for the pastry items. If you’re craving Panera it’s not a bad stop but otherwise I’d go somewhere else.

We ordered at the kiosk when we walked in and it probably took 15 minutes between when we ordered and them to get the food out. I ordered the pick 2 margarita flatbread with broccoli and cheese soup. The soup was delicious. I did not like the flavor of the cheese on the flatbread and it fell apart quickly while I ate it. It was pretty good but I think there are probably other better dishes there.
There is not enough people to clean the restaurant. Always look very dirty, especially the floors. I love the food but I think twice before I go. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 1
First of all customer service was HORRIBLE! We were first time customers and the workers were no help and actually walked off as I was speaking. The waiting time was not the best. A the food itself was just what we would say “ different”. Definitely will not be visiting again. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2

VERY SLOW and BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE- but WHO CARES?!? Right?! Not a soul in this place is in a hurry OR has a care in the world about whether you’re in a hurry or care! I wonder if the manager is present, bc they don’t appear to be. Basically waited 30 min for a dozen bagels to be sliced! Ridic! Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person $30–50 Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
Easy and fast to order at the kiosks up front. Food was made fast. Sometimes it can be a little expensive but a good dine-in experience. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20

Dined in, and also ordered take out. Both experiences were meh. Not sure if this is a Tuscaloosa thing but almost every bread product is either dry/hard or on the cusp of being burned no matter where we go. I presume that a lot of restaurants are buying from local bakeries, or even local Publix, so someone should probably explain what bread is, and how to make it. There's golden brown, and there's the color of a Tootsie Roll. A lot of Tuscaloosa bread makers seem to favor the latter, and that usually means the oven temperature is too high, and the bread's being baked for too short a period of time. A lot of meals around town would actually be better if they used properly-made bread. In the case of Panera Bread... they applied the Tootsie Roll standard to their soufflés. After pulling off the burned pieces, they were great! A few places around town have figured it out. This Panera Bread is not one of them. As for service, the management seems to understand that service with a smile keeps them in business. Non-management, not so much. The atmosphere - normally clean at other Panera Bread locations - is a little run down at this place, as if the kids hired to clean up the place have never cleaned up a place before, and continue that trend.
