Stopped here for a quick breakfast on our way to San Juan from Ponce. Had the avena and hot chai. The avena tasted like my mothers…so good. The chai was different from what I am used to but it was a delicious different.
Order was taken wrong, I wanted the waffles and my significant other wanted the tostadas francesas with eggs and bacon, we got other way around. The “tostadas francesas” were bone dry and crunchy, which is not typical for them. The waffles were way too sweet, and that’s saying a lot since I love sweet things. The iced mochas took longer than the food and when they came by it tasted like just coffee with milk and nothing else, couldn’t even drink it. Bacon and eggs seemed almost like they were just reheated. Overall very overpriced for the quality. I don’t mind paying for it, but only if it was good, and it wasn’t. Only good thing was the employees were nice, visually the food is beautiful (even though some parts inedible) and the services was relatively fast, but almost suspiciously fast, as in like what I mentioned about reheating might be true… Overall wouldn’t come again or recommend.
Left Ponce early to go to San Juan and picked Caguas as our halfway point for breakfast. So glad we did!!!
I ha the avena, a ham, egg and cheese on fresh flaky crusted toasted bread and a latte. Delicious!!!
I loved it. I came with 3 kids. The food was excellent. We got the waffles. The taste was good. No syrup needed. It was loaded with Nutella, fruit and whip cream. The waffle were soft and had a good flavor. Excellent presentation. This place is an upscale hole in the wall. I felt like I was in lower Manhattan, except with Christian decor, which I loved. The cafe bar was on point. They serve the drinks in lovely porcelain coffee cups and saucers. It felt like an experience you don't get anymore. They had so many options! Lattes, coffee, expresso. Delicious breakfast, beautiful pasta. This place was not what I expected from the outside, but it's totally worth your peace of mind on the inside. I will definitely be coming again.
The atmosphere is cozy and workers are quick/ attentive the food was the delicious and the coffee was a delight! I recommend to go early in the morning or past 3-4 (because of the kids leaving school at that time)
They have a coffee bar so you need to hand your ticket to the barista
Me and my wife went there to get a couple of sandwiches, real simple bread, butter, toasted, and one sandwich pastrami toasted. We was unable to finish the sandwiches because they tasted so salty. The butter they use tasted like pure salt. We couldn’t eat them sandwiches on edible . We were so disappointed. We want to support the places around our town what the quality leaves a lot to be desired. And if you look at it, we only ordered one toast with butter and another sandwich pastrami with butter the price was not cheap. I don’t mind paying if I get quality food. I hope they can improve.
I stopped here on my way to the airport and ordered some coffee. 20 mins later I still didn’t get my coffee there was no one in front of me didn’t understand what was the hold up. The girl that took care of me kept looking at me without saying anything. When I finally walked over and asked her how much longer She couldn’t find a ticket with my name on it. So then she said that after I paid I was supposed to take my ticket to the coffee bar. How is a person that’s never been in this establishment could know that? At that the girl that told me about taking my ticket to the bar it was the same one that took my order! Like you knew I ordered coffee and you’re just there looking at me. 30 mins after I got there I got my one single cup of coffee. Management do better if you ask me for my name when you took my order I can only assume that you will call me by name and I don’t have to take my ticket to the coffee bar to submit my order. If this is your process fine. But it will be nice if you advice the clients on what to do to avoid wasting time.
