Peletería La Cachanilla is definitely a place to take care of that sweet tooth! From American favorites like Sundays to Mexican staples like chimango ice cream. Also, Mexican Popsicles of various flavors and, of course, their favored refreshing waters. There are plenty of fruit choices and chirritos and other snacks. I added a star to this review, which I rarely give out 5 stars! But I went a few days ago, and this was at their second location on Adam's & 4th St and the service was so good, I couldn't find all my cash and I only had half, the young lady said, "it's ok don't worry about it". Well I went back and paid it but that act of kindness was really nice. There was no rudeness and for this and of course their wonderful snacks and ice creams and above all the lemonade (yummmmm) they get top marks! Feel free and quench your thirst or handle that sweet tooth by dropping by!
Ordered a Piña Colada aqua fresca here at their new drive thru location. SO GOOD! Super creamy and full of flavor. Will definitely come back to try the rest of their menu. The guy working the drive thru was super nice as well :)
They sell nieve de garrafa here which is basically water based ice cream instead of milk or cream and it is so good. Also the TostiElotes was good too.
