Great new pizza and beer joint in Basye! My family stopped in for dinner after a day skiing at Bryce and we’re not disappointed! We got a pretzel to start, served with cheese and mustard dipping sauces. Delicious house made soft pretzel, great for sharing. We ordered a cheese pizza (delicious!) and the pesto veggie pizza (this is a white pizza, very good!) - focaccia style crust was excellent. My daughter ordered a meatball sub - delicious meatballs and sauce on a soft baguette, she said her sub was better than the pizza! And of course they’ve got lots of beer choices on tap and Blue Ridge kombucha in cans. This was our first trip to Basye and we’ll be back just to try all of the pizza selections!
Delicious new option for Basye - with yummy beer, pizza and subs. We got the Hot Honey pizza and Chicken Parmesan sub - so good! Detroit style pizza and a nice focaccia style sub with the best Route 11 Chips! A yummy Venice Queen IPA for me and started with the pretzel - which comes with a delicious cheese dip. Highly recommend a stop in and can’t wait for the spring when they can open up their patio!
We had a few of their beers. The Red Molly was delicious. We also had the hot honey pizza and it was also very good. As an FYI their pizza is Detroit style so you know what you're getting into.
Service was great. Highly recommend stopping by.
We loved our visit at Pale Fire! We ordered the gluten free crust and loved it. I have celiac and they accommodated my needs easily! My family liked the beers, and they had good gluten free drink options as well. We will be back often!
Can't speak for the food. It looked and smelled good. The snow miser is a fantastic winter warmer. The thing I'm most upset about is I couldn't bring any home. I tried a couple of other beers. They're good, but that snow miser is amazing. I love a good winter warmer and they crushed it.
We tried the Hot Honey Meatlovers, the 540, and the Hawaiian gf pizzas. They were all delicious! Loved the Snow Miser, also. Great atmosphere and friendly staff!
