I love this bakery!! You can tell they use high quality ingredients and that they put a lot of love in their breads and pastries. I visit Waldport often and we always come here. Very small and crowded space inside and no tables or space to dine in. There is usually a line to get in but it moves pretty fast and the food is worth the wait! Only open 3 days a week but it usually works out just fine. I highly recommend this spot. The wait is worth it! They’re well staffed, friendly, affordable and the food was delicious! These tourists with their one stars need a to learn how to chat and slow down and enjoy the day because on the back end of your journey you’re gonna have some delicious baked goods! Stopped in at Pacific Sourdough and were blown away by the quality of their products! Displayed beautifully, and curated lovingly, the small space was organized well so a lineup of people was served efficiently. We tried the fresh baguette sandwich with herb cheese and lettuce, Italian almond cake, bear claws, and the double brownie. Everything was top notch, made with care and quality ingredients! Wish we would have tried some bread loaves as they looked incredible! As a professional baker, I 100% would visit again! Everyone should try product like this once in their life! The pastry looks fresh and healthy, just one bite, you know it’s good and delicious! I also love that they don’t taste too sweet or too oily. This is how good pastry should taste like, not a load of sugary stuff. Love the croissant 🥐 and Marionberry Puff! We were staying in Newport OR and read about this bakery. They are only open Thursday, Friday, and Saturday and the reviews were very very good. It was a 30 minute drive from where we were but decided to give them a try. We got there a half hour before they opened and there was a line of about 30 people. The store is very very small so only a few people can get in at a time but the staff is very efficient and gets you taken care of quickly. Got some sour dough bread, pretzel rolls, molassis cookies and a couple of pastries. We thought the sourdough bread was good though nothing special but everything else was great. Well worth the wait.

Absolutely everything we got was 5 stars, and we bought a lot! Best cheesecake I’ve ever had, the peach shortcake was amazing and the sourdough breads are wonderful! Be sure and get some turnovers, such flaky crust that melts in your mouth 😍, ginger cookies are super delicious too!

We are visitors from The Netherlands and in continental Europe we normally don’t stand in a line to get in a shop. But in USA not unusual. It can be an indication that something good might be awaiting you. So here we are in a line and had some banter with other customers. Whilst in the line a shop aasistant came around with a sample. Once inside we were very impressed which was on offer. Truly a great selection of baked goodies, hearty and sweet. For a busy place thwy had an excellent system in place to serve their customers. We did leave this shop with fantastic items. We now understand why it was so busy

I was told to check out a "great bakery in Waldport" and when I asked at a local restaurant, Pacific Sourdough was recommended. We were told to prepare for waiting in line, and that advice was not wrong. Halfway through waiting in line, one of the bakers came out with samples..and it was AMAZING! I couldn't wait to get in and check out the delicious treats. They have food from quiches, streusel, muffins, itty bitty pies, cookies, loaves of sourdough bread, and so much more. I had to get the marionberry muffins and the streusel to take home for the family, 1.5 days way. I was told they would be fine, so that was nice!  I also got a loaf of cranberry walnut bread for later, as well as a strawberry/apricot shortcake thing to eat for lunch. 🤌 Impressed! If you're in town Thursday, Friday, or Saturday, do yourself a favor and stop by! Be prepared to wait in line, because this is a popular place!
Lovely gem of a small town bakery. Only open Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Line starts forming about 9:30, so arrive early. We bought the hazelnut sourdough, a cinnamon roll, a slice of Jamaican coffee cake and a carrot cake. Sooo yummy! Inside the bakery is a feast for the senses! We are going back tomorrow!!!

I ordered a birthday cake for my 30th and the woman had a great suggestion for a raspberry cake she loves. I went with her suggestion and when we picked it up the day before my birthday it looked so beautiful, everyone in the shop was impressed! We loved the cake and it was very special! We also got tasty bread and baked goods for the weekend in Waldport. Grateful we found this gem!
