This is the most unique cafe in Dhaka. It's a street cafe stall. Much like the tea stalls we have around in the city. They sell coffee with grounded beans, NOT instant coffee. Their Americano is 70 tk/cup. In comparison, instant coffee in Dhaka goes from 50-70 tk/cup. Beans are medium roasted and good quality which is sometimes absent in many posh cafes in Dhaka. I only had their Americano and Espresso. I don't know about other drinks they serve.
I'm not cancelling the glass door cafes where a cup of Americano goes from 150-300 tk. But for a change of scenery, when I want a quick caffeine boost but don't have time to go to a fancy coffee shop, this works like rain in the desert. I know I can't open my laptop here, and that's good. If I wanna work I can go to those cafe restaurants.
Tea stalls are very popular, economic, and culturally significant hangout zones in Bangladesh. This cafe aims to tap in to that zone. Love it and I wish there were more coffee stalls like this around.
