The food is appalling and vey expensive. We ordered matapa and octopus salad. Both were disgusting. If you want good local food, go to the market. You will have or treble the bill and it will be tasty.
Though, it's a nice place to have a beer with a great view.
The staff barely speaks English, and we wait for one hour for the food.

We saw this place and saw the reviews and thought, "we're just getting a drink, how bad can it be?"
Answer: pretty bad unfortunately.
Fantastic location, terrible place. The staff are nice but it's chaos. I get the impression it's family run and there is no professional experience at all of what is required to run a bar/restaurant.
Took forever to get served, when we got served, both our drinks were wrong. The second drink simply never came.
We got up to leave and had to wait 15 minutes to pay.
All in all, pretty terrible sadly.

Nolice and chilled to have a drink, the food overall was below par, chicken and prego steak ice cold, no flavour, pizzas is bread dry and becomes very hard within a few minutes after arriving at the table. Waited over 2 hrs for the food. The curry was ok-ish but lacked more curry flavors. Not value for money

We just had drinks and garlic bread. The garlic bread was fine, the highlight of the restaurant is the view on the sea.
It was fully empty (people +furniture for some reason) when we went there which made it weird

Very bad food. I order a marlin fish fillet and seaweed pasta. The fish was hard as a shoe sole and the pasta raw and without the seaweed. I complained and send the plates back but they charged them anyway. The crab "casquinhas" good but I give this place ZERO STARS.
What a disappointment for a bar that’s situated on the beachfront. Our food was extremely oily and overpriced, there are several places just around the corner that will serve you much better food. We won’t mention service
