Oyo nails it with a unique blend of South American tapas and Caribbean flavors. Starting off with their caprinha, which was a perfect kick-off to the meal, to the Trinidad channa that was bursting with flavor, everything was spot on. The highlight, though, was definitely the ripe plantain pancake topped with marshmallow brulee - it was a showstopper. I highly recommend this for anyone exploring tapas and Caribbean food. Had a lovely dinner here tonight. I had the salmon, which was delicious. My date has the sea bass and a side of coconut rice. His was really good too. The cocktails were outstanding - he had the rum old fashioned and I had the prickly pear margarita. Only “meh” was the banana bread pudding. It was microwaved (I think) to reheat it and it was rubbery, although it tasted great and was served ala mode. Definitely recommend! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
