Stopped into the Ovn for a bite of dinner on the way to WWU, after having my kid home for the weekend. Wood fired pizza sounded amazing to us, and we were not disappointed. The menu had a delicious sounding list of pizza options - we wanted to try them all! - but decided on splitting the larger size and making it “half and half” so we could sample 2 different flavors. Our server Matt was wonderfully attentive and helpful. We got the Augustin (potato leek) & Forage (mushroom) pizza. They were both amazing! There were 6 medium sized slices - it was perfect size for 2 hungry people to share. I also got a Kale Cesar salad and tried one of their specialty cocktails, the Kamai. They were both delicious. 👍 (Will have to visit again and try some of their other speciality drinks…) For desert, we tried the warm chocolate chip cookie with ice cream… it was the perfect end to our dinner! We definitely enjoyed the food and drinks here and recommend visiting the Ovn! Wide variety of pizza options, including vegan and gluten free options. We ordered a few pizzas and they were all delicious in their own way. I would have preferred the crust to be crispier. Coming out of a wood fire oven I feel like the crust should be thoroughly cooked and firm, instead of soggy. Even with that feedback, I would return here. I appreciate the intentional vegan offerings. From vegan mozzarella and ricotta to pepperoni and sausage, the variety was outstanding. Although I didn't try the vegan lemon bar, it's great to see such options available. The potato wedges with vegan aioli were a delightful addition. The service was excellent, and I must highlight the Cherra drink – one of the best beverages I've ever had. Highly recommend this place for both vegans and non-vegans alike! Stopped by here for a quick slice after noticing the Google Reviews. I had a late lunch and didn’t want a full pie: so I asked for a slice which they don’t serve. Instead the suggests a 6 inch pizza and I chose a Margarita pie. However, I was disappointed as how soggy the pizza crust was! I asked my server to see if she can get the chef to crisp the crust but she rejected my appeal on the spot ! Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4

Their crust is sooo good. We heard good things about this place and then it exceeded expectations. The Bushwick was our favorite, but all three pizzas we got were great. The kale Caesar and cocktails were great too! Ask for the house-made ranch and other crust dipping sauces. 😋 Can’t wait to go back! Food: 5 Service: 5

Prices were a bit steep but my first bite into my pizza made me feel better plus the service was excellent and the bathroom clean and the pleasantness of the cute town and location was great. (12inch personal pizza was 24$) 2 12 inch pizzas and a drink was 60$. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Yummy creative toppings on Neapolitan style thin crust wood fired pizzas. The gluten free crusts were excellent - had air bubbles, had crispy bottoms and chewy insides and a real bubble crust not just a flat firm puck like a lot of places - really impressive. Service was pretty fast too. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50
Absolutely incredible Neapolitan pizza. Pizza crust and rosemary flatbread were divine, best I've had in many years! Even on a fairly busy night, staff was attentive, friendly, and very helpful. Can't wait to order some pizza for take-and-bake! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
UPDATED Oct. 26/23: Övn’s GLUTEN FREE CRUST, it’s spectacular!!! My wife was recently diagnosed with Ciliac disease, and we have been batting ZERO in finding a decent (read edible) pizza crust! Övn DELIVERS! I swear you cannot tell the difference! THANK YOU SO MUCH ÔVN!! Sept. 10/23: BENNY took exceptionally good care of the five of us this evening! My wife was just diagnosed with Celiac and Benny was kind enough to suggest Övns “gluten free” pizza crust. WOW, was he spot on! It was by far the BEST Gluten Free pizza crust we have ever had! Spectacular!!!! Thank you so much Benny! …The Previous review: I can't believe it took me this long to review Övn Wood Fired Pizza. It is by FAR the best pizza, and MORE restaurant in the PNW, let alone the Fairhaven / Bellingham area. The Neapolitan - Inspired pizza they produce is truly the best there is. My wife's favorite is the Margherita but she adds a couple of items that makes hers unique and oh so yummy. Their General Tso Wings are amazing, the Potato Wedges are terrific, any of the salads are so fresh and so tasty, and the Cerberus pizza with Creminelli salami is a definite 5 Star Award Winner in my books! Right down to the olive oil with Balsamic Vinegar, no detail is too small and the quality of ingredients is second to none. On certain days weather permitting the outdoor dining is always a pleasure and the eclectic choice of wines are always fun to explore. The whole crew @ Övn are always on point and they never disappoint. We try to get into Övn at least one a week, it's just that good! OH, and try their new Rosemary Flat Bread, OMG! OH, and their sandwiches ............. Service Take out Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Sebba
If you are looking for a great pizza with a little flair, this is a great place to try some new varieties. They even. They even have a few vegan options to pick from. The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere and vibe are great. It smells wonderful when you are inside as well and can see the oven where they cook the pizzas.
