Yeah these guys make some great food. Fresh off the grill. The empire cheese steak was good. Fries were on point. My son had the outta Bronx burger and he liked it as well. Good stuff. After a lot of great reviews I decided to stop in. To my surprise they had a $10 Empire special. That would be my main reason for coming back. The price of $10 for a Philly, fries, and a drink is very competitive. However, the Philly was lacking, the location was dirty, and the service lacking. But I'd put up with all that for a good deal. Small sandwich shop making some great grilled sandwiches & the fries are good too! Staff is friendly and efficient. We had Philly cheese steak and it was delicious. The wait was a little long, but it was dinner time and they clearly were very busy. Small dine in area, but most of their business seemed to be take out. Definitely worth a try. Found this place while I was out doing ubereats. The chop cheese cam easily be misjudged for its size. Although it is tasty be warn it is very filling. The fries are astoundingly tasty and seasoned. I would recommend this place 5 times over. A must see/try if you are ever in Peoria.
