Our group of 6 had a 4:30 reservation for Wednesday, February 14th. Three orders came out incorrect: 2 steaks ordered to be cooked medium, came out well done. Another order for a cheeseburger and fries, with a request to add bacon to the burger, was prepared with cheese and bacon on the fries, rather than on the burger. Upon advising the waiter, 2 slices of bacon were brought out. We then, had to again re-order the correct fries. A member of management did come to our table and apologize for the steaks, advising 2 steaks would be cooked as requested and brought out. One of the ladies in our party informed the manager that we were members of a Grief Share group and were late, awaiting our food, and the carry-out order she’d placed had not yet come out. I had also not yet received the dessert that was supposed to come with the 3-Course Aussie Meal. Already being late, 6:45 p.m., we requested carry-out containers. That manager EFFECTIVELY IGNORED the rest of our party at the table, even as I said excuse me, 2 times, attempting to speak with him. Upon returning, to the table, the manager addressed one member of our party, the lady who said we were members of a Grief Share group. He apologized ONLY to her, and stated he had 2 $10 gift cards for her. Yet, she had no issues with her food. I paid for a steak, a meal that I could not eat there, but had to take home. This experience was a waste of money and time. Customer service was atrocious. Outback Steakhouse is complete disappointment. We were seated And waited on immediately. We only received one loaf of pumpernickel bread, which we split. The appetizers were great and served in a timely fashion. Our order came out quickly. The burger was cooked nicely and the Alice chicken with veggies was a success. The server didn't offer to give us a refill until we were getting the check and then we only received small carry out containers of tea. The dinner was nice and the atmosphere was inviting. Jen is the best bartender in Northern Kentucky! If you want your drink made right go to Outback and ask for Jen! Kind, courteous, and always a smile on her face! She knows our order and how we want our steaks cooked without us even having to tell her. We enjoy coming in just to see her:). There are not enough stars to give her! Manager (Grant) was visible and actively involved throughout the restaurant ensuring operations ran smoothly. Dining area was clean and well kept, our server (Ellie) was friendly, engaging, and timely with check-ins. Food was hot and prepared to our satisfaction the first time. Wait time for our food was reasonable. Overall experience was great and hope this level of quality in all areas mentioned above remain the norm for this location.
