Nice place for pasta, pizza or coffee. Lots of seating indoors and outdoors. Play area for the kids with indoor and outdoor seating for parents to watch the kiddies. Has a bar as well. Great view towards the mountains. Lots of parking. Friendly efficient service. Next to Virgin Active gym.

Nestled in our town, the charming restaurant "Tre Nonni" has quickly become a local favorite since its opening just a week ago. Offering not only mouthwatering pizza and pasta dishes but also a panoramic view of the stunning Outeniqua Mountains, this dining establishment provides an unforgettable experience. The combination of delectable cuisine and a breathtaking backdrop makes Tre Nonni a must-visit for both residents and visitors alike.

Fantastic food a real treat. Some minor teething problems acceptable for a new restaurant but we're well handled by staff. Owner in attendance and very pleasant to deal with. Highly recommended.
PS. What a view!

O what a absolute disappointment.
After a very busy season in hospitality my partner and I decided after gym to have a late lunch. It was 2.45 pm and told kitchen closes at 3 pm. I asked can we have lunch or maybe we too late. The waiter assured us we could have a table. We ordered quickly
I ordered the lamb livers and the mango prawns were recommended for my partner. We ordered pasta as our main courses. Our starters arrived rather quickly. My lamb liver was way overcooked and dry the sauce was delicious though. The mango prawn was terrible, the prawns used are those nasty parboiled deshelled frozen prawns that are tiny and always tough. An inedible dish. I mentioned to our waiter that prawns were inedible and asked is my lamb livers precooked as they very dry and tough and even showed him. He didn't know and will report to kitchen. I ate my dry livers as I was really hungry and sent the prawn starter back. We were happily enjoying our wine when a tornado of grey haired Chef came out with raised voice to say 'i heard you say
I precook my food. He was shouting at us. I asked him not to shout
He was so aggressive. I stood up and he raised his hand towards me. He told me to shut up and accused us purposely coming to his restaurant to sabotage him. And told us to F@#$ off out his restaurant. I did leave with a few choice words myself. Such a pity as all we wanted was a good
meal and relax after a hectic season.
I would like to go back and pay for the wine we partly drank. But I'm afraid I might get beaten up.

Stelio and his team over-delivers. The music is perfect for the setting, not too loud or soft, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Everything you touch is crisp clean and fresh. Best dining experience in George in 8 years. We have had breakfast, lunches an dinner and the standard of food and service continues to please. Also, the food is so well priced and the wine is modestly marked up, you don't feel ripped off orderering another bottle. Neatest play area for kids and safe. Our new favourite in town.

Delightful dining experiences. Be sure to ask if there are any dishes not on the menu. They are always dreaming up new items.

Pizza
Our first time. Very nice decor, lots of space. So not busy. Waiter was inexperienced. Got confused with our very basic order. Didn't know what one of the starters were, I had to look up on Google. Menu said fritters..it was 1. Didn't taste the feta, seemed under cooked. Not worth R85. My pizza was ok. Lots of toppings, well priced but the taste was lacking. Think it's the tomato base, home made but just missing deep 🍅 flavour. Thick crusts also not my thing. The lamb ravioli was good. Veg pasta was also "ok". The tomato base again, lacking. Drinks are affordable. Outside kids play area always a bonus for families. Stunning view. Perhaps dinner time would be more vibey and the mains, even tho quite pricey, may be tastier.

Second time visiting, quite a letdown after the first visit and after waxing lyrical. The linguine vongole was almost inedible, and yes i have had the dish many times before in Italy and France.
What really annoyed us was the fact that the manager did not even bother to respond and the waitron was suitably embarrassed by the manager’s lack of response.
