My husband (Chris) and I started coming here when gas prices sky rocketed. We had always traveled for good Mexican, but said hey what the heck it’s the next town over and it’s been in town for quite some time, why not revisit this place (it had probably pbeen 15 years)? We were instantly hooked. It may not have the same vibe as some of the competition, but what it’s lacks in atmosphere (turn on the music) it makes up for with food, service, and consistency. I typically order enchiladas and an Italian margarita and my husband orders the burrito supreme (always two meals out of it). Our children love everything they have ordered from the fish tacos to the hotdog. The wait staff is always friendly and more often than not accommodations can be made to your order. Came in and the server went into the back to avoid seating us. And once we got ahold of her she told us to sit anywhere, when serving us she was very vocal about how she didnt want to be there to other people in the restaurant making us feel like a burden. we waited a good 20 mins for our appetizers to come out and it didn’t even come with what it was intended on the menu, when cashing out the server didn’t make us aware about the extra card charge that they had to get a bigger tip out of us as well. i think one of the few good parts was hearing the karaoke throughout the restaurant. I've only gotten takeout pick up or delivery, but it's always a consistant quality which is unusual in takeout. I usually get enchaladas which are amazing and come we th pleanty of rice and some beans. Guacamole is fresh, bright green, and chunky showing it's fresh. Good portion size. Pleanty of options. I did taco Tuesday here being a first timer in town. Found this place by doing a google map search. Enjoy my tacos and drinks. Great music as well. Greeted and seated right away. New to the area and Oscar's was recommended to me as a great place to eat. The seating was a bit to tight for my medium sized party but they accommodated as best as they could. The server was actually amazing until she was occupied toward the end of our experience. The mariachi was also fun, one song was enough but the family enjoyed it nonetheless. The experience here that left me to jaw dropped was the food. The chips and salsa weren't great. The rice was so dry and flavorless, as if it was a day old. The meat was also flavorless, and wouldve been almost inedible without the sauce beneath it that did improve the flavor but still, not what I would expect. We left easy enough and paid our bill and tipped of course. What we didn't expect was the tip we got back, when all of my family had to spend the most of the next day in the bathroom. Needless to say, never going back. My bathroom wouldn't forgive me. Found out later the recommendation was meant to be down the road from this restaurant 💀 Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

Be careful of the front door, it slams shut! Once a staff member knows you have arrived, you are allowed to seat 🪑 yourself. Quiet music 🎶 plays while you visit. Service was friendly and helpful. The complimentary chips and salsa were okay. The Mexican Pizza 🍕 was a good appetizer! It's almost a meal! I had the Mexican Parmesan with linguine. The portion to price ratio was good 👍! It will last me at least three meals! It also tasted good! Fried 🍨 Ice-cream for dessert. WiFi and bar available. Only issues, uneven air conditioning, especially in the men's bathroom. The front door needs repairs. When I first arrived, the sign out front looked like it needed repairs. No iced tea available. I recommend the food and the friendliness of the staff. Not your first date kind of place, but the food is excellent! Come here to eat! The chili is hearty, full of meat, and the flavor is off the charts! You can really taste the sacred cow. The fried fish tacos are very good as well, where the batter is very light, though the batter could use a little seasoning. Cajun steak and shrimp was almost perfect. Salsa was kind of runny, but had some fresh ingredients and the chips were fresh. I will definitely return.
