11/26/2022: Dinner for 2 again. The enchiladas and fajita's were very tasty. This is a Grade A Mexican dining experience. 11/05/2022: First visit - dinner for two. This is a low key restaurant/bakery. We ordered Chicken-Tortilla Soups. The bowl size was LARGE. Dinner was Chicken Fajita and Quesadillas. The portions were also large AND delicious. Ortega's food is far above average and deserves a second visit. Well Done!!! ed Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30

My friend and I both enjoyed our dishes. I had the garlic shrimp dish with rice and beans which came with soft tortillas. It was a decent portion with fresh ingredients. The guacamole and chips were also very delicious. It is a casual dining setting inside, not a big space and staff were friendly. First time there and will be back. Food was very good, fresh, and authentic. Service was very good. The young lady at the counter was very friendly, sweet and super attentive. Tortillas with three dips to taste while you wait. They have some baked goods you can take out as well. My husband ordered the chimechamgas and I had the chalupas. A few reasons we didn't give it five stars: the food wasn't hot enough and the chimechamga could have been fried a bit more. Atmosphere so so but clean. Bathroom was very clean. This seems like a family owned business. If you want authentic Mexican in a low key atmosphere, give this place a try. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20

West coast in the east coast, food had great authentic flavor and same goes for the salsas. Had an Agua de Jamaica and it was real flor de Jamaica, not the fake powder kind. TV was playing music videos, too loud for the size of space but , didn't bother me, I like Corridos. Def will come back to this place. They also make fresh pan dulce. Came here a handful of times and have tried various dishes. Food is fresh and tasty. While waiting, they give you warm and yummy tortilla chips with 3 various types of salsa that are very authentic! So good
We ordered over 100.00 worth of food on cinco de Mayo 2022. And I was thrilled with the food. So much food, and so well prepared. Paella was amazing enough for 3 meals. Hot, yummy! And the tacos were perfect to order. Teenagers don’t like allot of stuff we asked for specific toppings and you came through! Thank you for making amazing food. We will be back! Yum!

Authentic fresh cooked Mexican foods with large portions! Owners / wait staff are extremely accommodating. When I think of Ortega's I'm thinking comfort food and leave full with a smile on my face.
Our food was absolutely delicious but it took a very long time to get our dinners. The chicken mole enchiladas were incredible and the paella de pollo res y chorizo was delicious, and I suspect it was what took so long to prepare. The service was good too. The Ortega salsa was fabulous! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30
