I recently celebrated my first wedding anniversary here and we were both incredibly impressed. From the moment we walked in, the service was exceptional and the food was up there as some of the most delicious food I have ever eaten. The beef and iberico pork were absolutely sensational. I really like this restaurant. The food is always so delicious and fresh. They plan the menu around your dietary restrictions as well. The atmosphere is very warm and intimate. They have the best beef wellington in Taipei. I also fancy all vibes here. Services are pretty great. Having said that, the pairing and other dishes are just okay. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $2,000+

My favorite fine dining spot in town. The service was on point, we were served by an English speaking server who really speaks the language while providing thorough introduction on every dish, in addition to the great job of the sommelier on the wine pairing. (Despite some on-training employee dropped our food while serving...) They also let you enter the kitchen to try the small bites as a kickoff, bring you various flavors of butter to go with the bread. (Only I wish they would serve the bread after the kitchen tour so the bread could be warm when we got to it. ) All the courses were delicate in forms and flavors, here they are being creative yet remaining its French elegance.

Michelin! Wake up! Orchid deserves more than 1 star minimally. I love the complexity of the flavours, aroma, and fragrance. Chef Nobu’s meticulous attention to details worthy of the highest praise. Bravo and Merci chef. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $2,000+

Mindblowingly good. The novelty of the texture and fusion flavor are what continuously surprised us during this meal. Apparently they change their menu set for utilizing seasonal ingredients to their full potential. For starters, we were especially impressed by the venison tartare and the pigeon. The seafood mousse with clam stock was also incredible. For the main dishes we had sea bass and lamb. The quality of the meat was unsurprisingly good, and the sides, mushrooms sautéed with oyster sauce and grilled kiwi with pineapple jam on top of them are surprisingly delightful. Their desserts were not only palatable but also full of interesting flavors. If you go along with their wine pairings, the whole experience can be elevated to the next level. Ordered the Wagyu en croûte, the Wagyu meat is incredibly tender, and the pastry wrapped outside is super flaky. Among all dishes, I like the watermelon sweet soup with litchi sorbet the best, yet the side bread and the last sweet, winter melon candy are not very impressive. Food portion is pretty small. I was only 70% full after eight dishes. ♿ There's a ramp in the entrance, and the door is wide. No accessible restroom but the washroom is pretty spacious. An excellent fine dining experience!! Other than good foods and services, every course is served in details. It is pricey but you absolutely get it value for money. The menu is simple as only two menu are offered. Breads are served once you arrive and they are made by their own bakery. If you are a wine lover, the wine paring menu is also a good choice. Staff are friendly and will offer descriptions for every course. The restaurant is so thoughtful that there is USB charging port for every seat. It is a very good choice if you are dining for a special occasion. Very likely that will come again!!

Great atmosphere, food portion is about right, beef Willington and foie gras chaud was exquisite! Definitely recommend to go with wine pairing, totally worth it. The food here has decent presentation and the setting was upper mediocre. I couldn’t understand or tell what I was eating on some dishes but overall it was good. Also good beef wellington’s are hard to find in taipei so this is the next best thing. And desserts are pretty fancy and appetizing to a great closure on my meal.
